Sizes run super small but great shirt

Great functionality, crazy sizing
I use this for sun protection and a bit of warmth when snorkeling and kayaking. It works great. Super comfortable, doesn't restrict movement in any way. My first one was mostly white, which quickly ended up a dirty grey, so I'm buying a darker tone one this time. Sizing is bonkers, however. I'm 6' and weigh about 170 pounds. In most brands I wear a small or maybe a medium. A large for this fits me well.

The item is extremely small. The label says size L/52, but i couldn't even squeeze my head in.

At least four sizes smaller than a Large
The photo of the muscular man is misleading. The L I received was so small, it looked like it would fit a child.
