I love these frames. No socks on the arms but they are super comfortable regardless and lightweight too! Highly recommend.

Great looking glasses with a major flaw

Although I loved the look, feel, and extremely light weight of this Oakley titanium frame…there is one major flaw with its design. The straight temple arms are matte coated titanium like the rest of the frame, but do not have ear socks. As a result, the frame easily slides off your face upon looking downward. This happens as soon as the full weight of the lens pulls down with gravity and the nose pieces no longer sit on top of the nose. There is a lack of friction from the light weight frame and straight temple arms to keep it in place. Your mileage may vary…but unfortunately I cannot recommend this frame based on my experience. Following this, I purchased the Oakley Tincup 0.5 Titanium instead…which also has a rectangular lens shape, but straight flat temple arms with ear socks.
