I like it!
I’m experimenting and it looks like it will do what I wasn’t it to.

It works
It's a pipe, water goes through one way, it won't go through the other. Not much more to say about it - it does what it's supposed to do.

Watch out for the seal!!!
The elastomeric seal easily falls out of its groove in the flapper, a couple of times I checked it after installation and I'm surprised it didn't get washed away down the drain. I used a thin bead of silicon to secure the seal in its groove - the seal is the most important bit of a backwater valve and if it pops out of position then the backwater valve is useless when it might be needed - I mean it has ONE JOB and if you're not confident that it will do that job and prevent your basement flooding then why bother. Other than that it's pretty good - potentially useless but pretty good, if you buy one make sure the seal won't or hasn't fallen out.
