The product provides for minimal foundation covering (which is great for everyday use) as well as a little sun protection and moisturizing. It’s not recommended if your skin is prone to breakouts.

Light but protective

I have been using OLAY total effects 7 in 1 for over 10 years. It is light and gives me coverage and protection from the sun. HOWEVER the recent endorsement by OLAY of Dylan Mulvaney causes me to boycott OLAY until an apology and a withdrawal of their endorsement has been made public.

Works for a light make up coverage

Using this for years. Wish they would make the spf higher now with all the global warming. Great if you don't wear regular makeup and just would like to get a natural dewy glow look or maybe use in between the extreme make up and times when a bit less is needed.

Closer to medium colour

First I’m disappointed in the tint, it says for light-medium, which is obviously a wide rage of colours, unfortunately it’s too dark for me and I haven’t found just a “light” shade. other than that I really like the product. It has a nice natural dewy looking finish and feels hydrating in the face, does have a slight sunscreen smell to it but I expected that.

Daily must have

Love this product. It has it all a light concealer coverage, sun protection and moisturiser. I wear it daily and it lightly covers imperfections without being heavy and feeling like you are wearing makeup.

Yellowy/Orange shade of skin. Can’t use it.

The directions say to apply liberally... don’t! Even if you just apply a small amount, your skin casts this yellowy-orange tone. I wear some kind of spf year round whether it be +30 or -30 outside. The level of spf is what changes. I don’t wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis so when I saw this I was exited. An Olay product, a moisturizer, tinted, with spf! Everything I needed in one bottle. Unfortunately, no matter how much or how little I use, even mixing it with other products, I can’t use it. Very disappointed.

Good product, but not for me.

It's not a bad product, just not really for me. I love play moisturizer with its clean light scent, so that's why I bought this. I find it has a strange smell which I find distracting til it wears off. I wanted a basic semi tinted moisturizer for a healthy glow. It seems way too dark for me, the few times I tried it I mixed it in my hand with double the amount of moisturizer to thin out the tint, which worked well. It was lightweight once dry( but was like 3/4 moisturizer by then) and went on easily and evenly. I'm sure it would be great for someone who actually uses foundation.

Careful with skin type!

I have a sensitive-acne prone skin I have to admit. So people with acne/sensitive skin, watch out. I have serious break upon applying only twice. I feel it’s more reactive in sun light. The product itself could be a good product. But was not for me. Update: Used third time after 2-week interval, same reaction.
