The Onyx MoveVent Torsion paddle vest features mesh ventilation panels in the front and lower back, along with a unique vented foam back for added airflow. The mesh panel in back accommodates most canoe and kayak seats for paddling comfort. This vest has adjustable shoulder and side adjustments and a sculpted flexible foam design conforms to your body and stays in place when paddling. The Torsion vest has SOLAS grade reflective material for visibility, and a large expandable zipper closure pocket with drain holes. Marine whistle included. Available in X-Small/Small (28"-36" chest); Medium/Large (36"-44" chest); and X-Large/2X-Large (44"-56" chest) sizes. This personal flotation device (PFD) is U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada approved.

Right size petite paddler, big pocket

I have short torso petite 60 year old women. One size all universals come low at waist, ride up on shoulders when sit and are as tight as can be to fit so feels constricted. This life jacket small size has big pocket in front and back high floatation allows use normal high back kayak seats. High back also means lower back cooler when hot weatheras is just mesh. Easy adjustments also. The front flotation in 3 pieces with mess between so as move get air under life jacket should help stay cooler. Like red color has large reflective strips also. Drys fast. The only thing is if have lower stadium seat as on tribes lower half jacket overlaps seat top. As this is small size that back flotation piece is thick so sets farther away from seat back. But most paddlers life jackets are same way. This is a good buy especially with big front pocket for sunblock, chapstick, granola bar, sunglasses, etc.

Good 1st Impression

My wife loved it on Christmas Day. It's been -39c - so we won't be kayaking anytime soon . She loves the large triangular pocket for her phone, the fit/adjustment, and most importantly, CT Approved for Canadian waters, and USCG as well. We think the higher back will work well with our kayak seats.

Life vest

Bought this item and it arrived in good condition and delivery was fast then I expected... In Singapore it's a hot weather.. I saw alot of kayakers wearing those life vest which made them rash and itch over their body as they did not wash cos of thick form.. some even never wear them as they find it too expensive for them..( stupid thinking ). This life vest dry up very fast under hot sun .. so it's a good buy.. thumbs up .
