The fitting worked great.

The fitting worked great, but the hose clamp that was included was a little wimpy. I wound up using a hose clamp designed for an automobile heater hose from the local auto parts supply store.

Not like what you get from the big box store

I needed to replace the end of a commercial 3/4" hose. After having no luck with what was available locally (which was for 5/8" or 3/4" hoses, allegedly), I ordered this. It IS only for 3/4" hoses, and it fits snugly. Problem solved!

Screw clamp needs to be extremely tight

Only issue is the screw clamp must be tighter well.

Works great but you gotta wear gloves.

The local hardware store only had the kind with the claw that you have to bend to clamp into the hose, which leak and spray water all over if you are using with a nozzle. These do not leak but the hose clamp adjacent to the end tends to jab your hands.

Easy install

I've put on many male hose ends over the years. This is defintely the best of them all. A bit of dish soap on the new hose end and got it in to the hilt easily.

So happy!!

We thought our hose was ruined after my husband ran it over with mower. I decided to searched hose repair on amazon and this came up. We simply cut the damaged area off our hose and inserted this mender and it's like we have a brand new hose. I am so happy these exist. No leakes and so easy!! Great product!!

Not Quite

It's hard to find repair kits for 3/4" hoses, since most hoses are 1/2 or 5/8. This one was made by someone with weak calipers, as instead of a true 3/4", it's about 11/16". As a result, I had to put a wrap of Gorilla Tape around it (and it still slipped easily into a 3/4" hose) before I could seal it with a hose clamp. It works, but it's irritating to have to resort to the Handyman's Secret Weapon.

Too Big

bought this for a hose we have had for 15 years. Hose is still good so i just wanted to replace the male coupler i ran over, but the adapter was way too big for it.
