Dull quick, does not use the standard file for this chain size

I think they are a good value. When new they dull quick if you hit some dry hardwood. A light filing brings them back easily and then they seem to last longer than the factory grind before sharpening again. My biggest issue with these are they do not fit what I have found to be a standard file for this size chain. Even other Oregon chains have fit my Stihl all in one file. So now I need to use a single file I found and it takes longer plus not as good of a sharpen. I have filed a chain out to be able to use the Stihl all in one but not worth the trouble. Neither is trying to find new files that fit the Stihl holder. I would continue to purchase if not for the incompatibility with my sharpener.

Chain cuts like butter.

I replaced the chain on my ECHO 18 in chainsaw with the Oregon AdvanceCut. It was a perfect fit. I used it to cut back my Lychee tree and it cut through 12 inch branches like butter. I will definitely reorder when the time comes to replace the chain. Great product

The price on these chains was so good, I went ahead and did some work close to the ground where rocks eat up chains. Got the work done knowing I'd destroy these chains with this project.

Reliable Chainsaw Blades.

I own a woodlot and I cut my own firewood yearly. I cut approx 4 cords of maple and birch with some softwood included. I go through 1 chain per season. Never had a problem with Oregon Products.
