Oregon's 5/32-Inch (4.0 mm) high-quality Swiss-made professional round chainsaw chain sharpening files sharpen 1/4-Inch, 3/8-Inch Low Profile Saw Chains. Use in conjunction with Oregon wooden file handle p/n 534370. Pack contains: 12 round files. About us: 1946 ushered in a better way of woodcutting when logger Joseph Buford Cox realised how easily timber-beetle larvae can chew through timber, creating the first revolutionary Oregon saw chain that duplicated their alternating C-shaped jaws in steel. From the invention of modern saw chain to research innovations that reduce injury-causing kickback, Oregon has always been the industry leader. There’s a reason we’re the world’s number-one in saw chain, guide bars, sprockets, forestry accessories, lawnmower blades and outdoor equipment parts.

Product is as advertised
These are excellent files. I purchased these to sharpen a bunch of chain saw blades and they do the job. Completed 8 chains with one file, and it still has many more chains to go.

Good files, Amazon shipping needs improvement
Good quality files made in Switzerland at a good price. Hopefully will last longer than the Chinese made files sold in most stores. My only complaint is with the shipping. The 12 files themselves are in a thin cardboard box similar to a toothpaste box. Amazon shipped this box in a standard white plastic type bag. In transit the box inside was crushed and the files broke loose, two of which punctured the bag and were lost. I contacted the Oregon help line and they promptly shipped replacements. Amazon should ship items which could puncture the bag in sturdier packaging. Delivery was prompt though and the Oregon help line was very considerate.

Paying new condition prices for like used packaging
Look I’m sure the files are just fine and will work just as I expect. But am I the only one that hates it when you receive a product that looks like its been returned several times? I pay good money for prime membership each year. But it just gets under my skin when the product packaging looks like crap but the shipping packaging is in great shape. Oh but I can return it for free and get a replacement (on my time and gas money). I’m 100% sure no one will reach out to me to make this better. Prove me wrong and I’ll update this review.

5/32 Oregon Files for my CS310 chainsaw.
These files are the perfect fit for my S52 chain on my CS310 Echo chain saw. I received them before expected date. Can't beat the price. Saved $$$$. Just in time for large wood cutting job

Good Cut and Wears Long
These files cut well into the cutter and they last a long time. A quality product and good value. I have bought a couple other sizes for my other chainsaws. Recommend.

Better than Stihl
I use Oregon chains on my two saws, and they give good service. Thought I'd try these files rather than Stihl, 12 in a box means ordering less frequently, and on first impressions, these are very good. They last at least as long as Stihl, and are a bit cheaper, both which means I'll buy them again

Quality and good price
For the price you really can't go wrong as the quality is there. I wish they were a little more aggressive but then again they wouldn't last as long. They probably come from the same factory as my preferred brand stihl but these do fine.

13/63 not 5mm
Their 13/64 not a true 5mm, not a big deal but still a difference.
