Low stretch, holds edge
Oregon chainsaw chain seems to stretch less than others. During initial use it needs tightening pretty quickly and then remains properly tightened for a long time before needing re tightening.

I am a Stihl snob, but . . .
I readily admit that I am a Stihl snob. I love my saws (MS250 16 in and MS290 20 inch) and won't buy any other brand. But I took a chance on this Oregon brand chain and I am impressed. I have cut up one tree so far and have to admit, it has been done a good job; I can tell very little difference from the Stihl chain I usually use. Like most chains, it has stretched and I have had to adjust the chain, but that is to be expected. I does seem to bite a little deeper and kick back less than my Stihl chains. It has held it's edge and sharpness like my Stihl chains. The only thing I don't know about yet is how well it holds an edge when sharpened and length of life. I probably won't give up my Stihl chains but I won't shy away from an Oregon chain if I need a new one. And I save $10 in the process!

Better than the original
Great price. Great chain. Great cut. Cheaper than a Stihl chain and I believe it lasted longer between sharpening.
