OTC brand (model 2376) ankle stabilizer with heel locking straps. Combines the compression and comfort of a soft ankle brace with the rigid stability of an ankle stirrup. A plastic exoskeleton is formed directly onto the soft breathable fabric, forming a network of strategically placed support zones. The fully adjustable strapping system provides optimum medial-lateral control, and will not stretch during exercise. This is one of the most widely used ankle bracing systems today because of its proven performance, comfort and durability. It can be worn after an acute ankle sprain or as a preventative product to protect against repeat ankle sprains during athletic activities.

Great for Sports

Sturdy and tight, exactly what I want in ankle support for sports. I wear size 9.5 but I wanted a tighter fit for sports so I got the slightly smaller sized one. I also have the ASO ankle stabilizer and though I've never turned my ankle playing sports while wearing the ASO, the sturdiness and tighter feel of the OTC gives me greater peace of mind. Though I've not worn the OTC for an extended period of normal, everyday use, the ASO feels a little more comfortable and that's the one I wear if it's going to be on for a long time.

OTC Ankle Stabilizer with Heel Locking Straps

Having broken both ankles (the left one twice) I now wear braces on both ankles when I play tennis. On the left ankle I wear an older brace without the heel locking straps, and have found this quite successful in stabilizing my ankle. Since a recent right ankle fracture, I have been wearing the brace I'm now reviewing (the one with heel locking straps) on my right ankle, and have found it much more supportive and comfortable. I can recommend this product without reservation to protect against inversion/eversion injuries.

Broken Leg

Broke both leg bones at the ankle and needed something smaller than the Big Boot to wear at night so i could sleep and be more comfortable. This has been great gives support and i can wear this during the day at times in my work boot. Started wearing it after 4 months in the Big Boot and has been a huge relief. Has side support so i know i am protected too gives me more confidence.

Great Product At A Great Price

This is the exact same ankle brace I got from a doctor years ago when I sprained my ankle. It works great, I am able to get around with little pain and its comfortable enough to sleep in. Thank's Amazon for saving me a trip to the doctors and allot of money.

This is a great brace for stability, helps to keep your ankle in line no matter what terrain youre walking on! Much better than those store bought deals which don't work too well!
