It works!!

I wasn't sure that these would work. I purchases others in the past and they did nothing. I was at my wits end last August when I came across this product and decided to try it before I burned my house down lol. After putting these throughout my house, no more mice!! It's been a lifesaver! It was so hard trying to keep them out of everything!! I originally only purchased a 4 pack but after a month, I purchased more and have them all throughout my house!

Finger saving design. All of them worked. No more 1894 designed wooden traps for me!

The 1894 designed wooden traps I USED to use were always a dicey proposition. Some would not trigger, some would trigger just it laying down, 1 in 3 could net even be set. Setting them every time was scary. In the 21st century we have molded plastic traps with a strong spring where you just press the metal trap arm into a latch and you're done. Have yet to have one misfire. Presumably you can re-use them as well if you want to mess with that mess ;)

Stolen bait

I filled the bait cups with peanut butter, which the mice liked. I started will just a small amount, as suggested, however the bait was stolen daily on most of the traps without a kill. I decided to fill the bait cup with peanut butter so the mice would stay longer, but they still continued to steal the bait. I think that the trigger is just too stiff for it to work well. I did catch mice but, more often than not the bait was stolen. On the plus side, the notches in the base make it easy to set or un-set the trap without worrying about getting fingers caught.

These made my life so much easier! You don’t have to fight to set them and they won’t snap back at you. Caught a rat in the first day.

Claims fall short

It's plastic so easy to clean. it's easy to set as well however, it's not strong enough. The rodent that got caught in the trap was able to escape it. I found it sitting on the floor injured. It was so hurt it didn't try to even evade me. I had to scoop it up and humanly out an end to it's suffering. Compared to the traditional traps it lacks performance. 35% more force than other traps cannot be in comparison to their competitors. Just by feel alone you can tell the springs are inferior to that of victor. I am completely disappointed with the results of this product.

reliability issues

Like some others have said, these seem to work well but the plastic trigger mechanisms begin to fail, some after just a few snaps.

So far so good

It has been a few days after I got this product, it’s quite and the size is perfect. The best thing is it works so far, haven’t seen any mice since then.
