Not reliable with the four balancing legs
Definitely not reliable scale and at times out very quickly. Even with new batteries it with time out after a minute or two. Used it for my hair salon business. Buy another brand that I’m happier with.

Pretty good, especially for the price
I've only had the scale for a few days, and it works pretty well, but there are a few caveats that I'll mention in case they are relevant to some others. They are somewhat nit-picky, especially for a $25 kitchen scale. If you need super-precise measurements for your small batch rocket fuel mix you should be buying a higher-end unit anyway. I can't compare it to any other similar scales, as it's the only one I've tried. I bought this item for two purposes: measuring ingredients in baking by weight instead of measure (for greater accuracy in complex recipes) and for measuring very light items like spices that I mix for home-made chai. All I've used it for so far is weighing small amounts of spices, but here are my observations: Although the accuracy is measured in grams, the scale doesn't seem able to reliably weigh things in the 1-3g range; especially if you add the weight slowly. One example: this morning I slowly dumped approximately three grams of fennel on the scale and it stayed on zero. I dumped another few grams on top of that and it finally registered a couple grams. I dumped it off, re-zeroed it (because now it read -4g for some reason even though I hadn't hit the tare button) and dumped it all on at once. It then read 6g! Weighing heavier items doesn't have this problem of course, but I can only assume it's accurate, as I don't have any calibration weights. The other issue is that since the scale has one smooth surface that includes the touch sensitive buttons, pressing even a little on the tare button adds weight to the scale, so it's hard to be sure how accurate your tare is. Obviously if the number says zero when you remove your finger then it's probably close. But knowing the problems it has measuring under 3g, it could possibly be reading zero when really it's compensating for more than the container actually weighs. I'm planning on getting a few more items with known weights to test out the calibration a bit. Assuming it's accurate once you get into the 5g and up range, it will likely suit my purposes fine. I'll just plan on weighing things twice to be sure. But while I'm still tweaking my chai recipes, being able to weigh 2g of peppercorns and 3g of ginger would be nice, and that level of precision seems beyond this particular device. On a final note, the manual indicates that the unit should be stored flat and with nothing on top of it so as not to mess up the sensors. It's a little unclear whether that means it shouldn't be stored on it's side. Part of the appeal of the super-thin design is that it could be easily stored in between some other things in a cabinet or propped up against the wall, rather than taking up it's entire footprint all the time. If it turns out that the sensors are going to get messed up by vertical storage, it's going to go in the trash. I'll have to wait and see and then report back.

Easy to use
This scale is very user friendly and accurate. My only complaint is that it can get a little touchy and sometimes when I bump it it turns on and drains the battery.

Fair price, good design, not perfect.
I was looking for an all-round scale to weight all sorts of things from letters, fasteners or little parts where I want to safe weight. I wanted something that doesn't scream "kitchen" or "lab equipment" since it would be out open in my office. This scale seems to be available from different brands. Some are cheaper. I checked their website and found out that their USA office is just ten minutes away from my home. So as a proud San Diegan I off course support a local business. I was a little sad though when I saw it's made in China. Design wise it's doing a good job. It's simple, doesn't hurt anyone and is almost invisible on my dark furniture. It would have been nice if the lower part would be black too and the 'Ozeri'-logo is a little bit too big for my taste (I used a sharpie and a piece of clear tape to black it out). I'm not sure if I'm going to spray the back since I feel it would look better with a dark grey or matte black back cover. There a few things that doesn't make it a five-star for me: - The rubber feet in the front are too far back so the stance is not wide enough. They are located behind the display and the touch buttons. If you press them the scale will tilt. I use tare a lot and switch between the units so that's a little annoying. You can hold down the scale to switch the units but obviously not when you set the unladen weight. Especially when you weight tiny parts that will just slide down off the plate. I built a small tray to fix that problem. - Sometimes the scale seems to have a problem holding the weight or it 'flickers'. This happens mostly with light larger objects (bigger envelopes or packaging). - I wish there would be a way that it wouldn't recalibrate every time it turns on. Sometimes I leave things on the scale and it turns of automatically and when I turn it on again it shows zero. I don't know if thats common with digital scales since I used a mechanical in the past, where this is not an issue. For the price it's a good product. I'm not sure if the word 'professional' really fits it but that's maybe just me. I bought it mostly because of the design. I might have to upgrade it in the future, depending how good it works. For now it works for 80% of what I want from it and the rest with a little workaround.

Easy clean and accurate results!
Having used these for the last few weeks I like them for the accuracy of measuring out baking ingredients. For the past few years I've used bulky manual scales and it's hard to get the grams exact. These scales are so simple to use, you can add a bowl, press the tare button which reverts them back to zero and then you can add whatever you are weighing out. They look sleek, have a smooth glass finish and take up little room to store away. A great addition to my kitchen for my weekly baking.

Lightweight, sleek and stylish
Really like the space saving lightweight sleek design. Easy to use and they even come with a calorie guide. They switch between weight preferences very easy with just a touch. The tare feature is so handy when weighing multiple items - adding to a recipe and the display is easy to see. Make sure they are on a flat surface for accurate weighing. Easy to clean and easy to use.

Great sleek scale!
I ordered this over a month ago and can say I am very happy with it, I'm dieting and have to measure everything. It is very sleek looking, takes up little space, you can lean it against the wall like an iPad (it's the same size). It is very easy to use and measurements are precise. Great thing is being able to put food or liquids in a container and get the weight of just the food item, follow the instructions to use and everything works perfectly. Would definitely recommend.
