Sturdy and well made, but my toddler figured it out within minutes.

The strap is sturdy and well constructed. I have had it on my dishwasher for a few months and have had no issues with it coming off. Unfortunately, the strap was not child proof at all on my case. I installed it when my son, eighteen months, was taking a nap and when he woke up I didn’t bring any attention to it, but he went over and unlatched it and opened the dishwasher and started playing with the dirty silverware right away. So it is pretty pointless in my case.

Great price

It’s a great price and easy to install but unfortunately my son is very clever and has figured out how to unlock it. Probably not for an active toddler.

So far so good!

Our 3 year old has become obsessed with our dishwasher. He constantly wants to open it and get inside. We bought 2 straps - one for each side of the dishwasher. They were easy to install. Despite his best efforts, he has been unable to defeat the locks. Even pulling on them with all of his weight hasn’t worked.

Nice design, but did not hold for a 1.5 yr old toddler

I was super happy first, unfortunately my 1.5 yr old ripped it apart on the second day! I think it should be able to hold against that much force:/

Secured my kitchen rubbish bin

This product is amazing and has truly changed the way we live our lives! Before, I couldn't go upstairs or outside without taking my three year old along with me because he would instantly be rooting around in the trash, devouring anything half edible or once edible. In the process he'd make huge mess- strewing the contents of the kitchen rubbish bin across the floor to get to the good bits. This installed in seconds and he quickly learned he no longer has access to the bin. As my three year old is a labrador retriever, he doesn't have the dexterity to open the latch. A human three year old might.

Too easy to unlock

In theory this is a great product. Sturdy, tape is really strong. Unfortunately my toddler figured the lock out in about 3 minutes flat and is not keeping anyone out of our dishwasher.

This is not what product is in the picture.

This is not the product in the picture .I bought this last week and thought it might have been a fraudulent return so I returned that one because it was not the product in the picture.I reordered it thinking I would get the correct item and was sent the very same product.Total rip off.The strap is not cloth it’s plastic and it doesn’t Even sty together.One try opening the dishwasher and the plastic strap came out.It is not worth buying.

Works great

Works to keep by 18 month old out of the dishwasher. My 3 year old figured out how to unlock it though.
