Good, but be careful

So this is a good product. The instructions should come with a warning or mayne a bit more depth i to how to use this product properly. So you have to be so gentle with it. Holding the paw there for more than like 2 second with any kind of real pressure ends up in a huge black blob. I took a few tries to get the hang of it. But by then my cats were over it. You can use it way more than twice. I was using it for a vday card for my fiancee. I usually dont do cards from the cats but this one was so cute i couldn't resist. Basically had them put their paw prints on the card then just wrote the names under it. Ended up being a bit more of a mess than intended since the ink pad was so sensitive. You really just need a quick light press of the paw on the film and it works. I suggest doing a trial or 2 on a notebook paper or something so you can get the hang of it before you do it on the cards

Super easy and can be used more than once!

I bought this to get copies of my baby girls paws since she is 15 and aging very quickly to the point where I am not sure how much longer she has. I got the kit that came with 2 ink pads and 4 cards. I used up 3 of the cards using only one ink pad, by taking a small brush and swiping the ink around to cover where her paws had been the first time(you can kind of see in the photo I took of the pad but the light reflection is bad). Doing that I was able to get her front left and right on their own, and then both on one! I am so happy with how these turned out and I will definitely be turning one of these into a tattoo❤️

A bit expensive for literally just plastic, paper, and some ink. Def overpriced. But easy to use.

Wrangling Cats

So....I do think this is a good product, however, only for post mortem prints. I bought two of the kits, and after four attempts on two living cats, I do not endorse for living animals. Probably my own stupidity. It was hilarious to watch though!

Adorable fun thing to do!

1st: I’d recommend getting your dog comfortable with you touching their paw first (use treats as a positive reward) 2nd: how I did it was I’d try to line up my dogs paw on the ink pad, gently lower it onto the pad, then I’d lift the other paw so she would lean her weight down on it. You only need to push down for a few seconds 3rd: it’s a trial and error, luckily I got the first one right. Even if I messed up or had a really stubborn pet, I’d definitely rebuy this again & start over. It came out beautiful & I absolutely love the result. I had multiple people asking where to get this product, definitely worth it as a memorable token.

Works but it depends.

I read the reviews before trying this product, and many said not to press hard on the ink pad. Doing this, will create a black blob print. I pressed lightly and hardly got a print on the paper. I pressed my cats paw into the ink harder, then onto the paper and it was sort of noticeable. By then, my cat was annoyed that I was trying to mess with his paws and ran off - leaving a perfect print on the kitchen floor. LOL. Long story short, it depends on how good of an ink pad you get, and how much patience your cat has.

I used it for my dog's paw print. It was very simple to use. Less hassle and no mess compared to.using a traditional ink pad.

I used them all

There were 2 sheets and I used both back and front of it until I was satisfied with my baby's paw. For bday cards and holidays cards, I always add my cat so I decided I wanted a penny paw stamp. I know I needed her paw and saw these and needed to get it. Penny is not a patient kitty so it was a job for two, got the paw I wanted and the stamp came out adorable! Totally recommend, it took the 2nd try to figure out a way to get it clear. I recommend the ink dry completely before moving to the next try. The condition of the box was not the best, it was bent.. for something so sensitive, id check the contents before starting.

I will treasure these prints forever

I'm very grateful for this product, and also for amazon's one day shipping. My kitty had a sharp decline in her health and was not looking good at all on Sunday. I ordered these Sunday afternoon, with one day shipping, just in case. She passed late Monday morning, and these ink pads arrived shortly after her death. I was able to take her paw imprints before we brought her to the vet and I am just so thankful that they got here in time. They were extremely simple to use and came out great. I got two sets of prints out of the ink pad. Thank you so much for this product. Losing my wonderful kitty is one of the hardest things I've gone through and this has made a wonderful little image to remember her by.

Very good

Very easy to use however my kitten was fussy so this was the best little print I could get before her little paw used the ink in the middle as shown in the picture but great to use if your pet isn't as fussy as mine

Takes practice but works like a charm!

I used the clean touch ink pad to get a perfect imprint of my cat’s paw. After a few tries and a stubborn kitty, we got the perfect paw print which I was able to take to a tattoo parlor and they were able to tattoo it on my wrist. It was worth every penny!

This is such an amazing product. It is a little expensive for what it is. But you can’t put a price on having the paw prints of your best friend forever. ???????? Be careful when you open the plastic thing that holds the ink pad; the ink is exposed as soon as you open it (face up). Be careful not to touch it or drop it. Put the ink side onto the paper. It helped me to watch a video of someone using it. I used a tiny piece of scotch tape on the upper edge just to hold the card in place so it wouldn’t smudge. I put both of my cats feet on the card at the same time. Don’t press hard, the ink pad is very squishy (for lack of a better word) lol Put your pets feet straight onto the pad from above, press slightly and lift straight up. I think the more quickly you do it, the better. The first picture is the first one I did. In the second picture I used watercolour paper instead of the other card. It came out a little more faded but I really like the way that looks too. I ordered another one for our dog. I’m going to see how many times I can use the ink pad and then I will update this review. Very happy with this purchase. ••••••••••••••• UPDATE I just wanted to share, as I think another reviewer commented, that the ink does not dry after you make your paw print. So it will smudge if you touch the paper. This is important especially if your pet has passed away. You don’t want your prints to get ruined so be very careful with it. I have also added a print from our dog that I made even after I used the ink pad 3 times. Dogs pads are kind of rounded so it helps to press each toe into the paper. ???? And then lift straight up. Hope this helps.

Small paws only

This should be for small dogs I have a large breed and medium breed and won’t fit their paws. You would think that a product designed to take a paw print wouldn’t only work for small dogs. Haven’t used it due to paws not fitting.
