We use our feet every day to walk, run, and stand. It’s essential to make sure your shoes fit snugly and cushion your foot to avoid blisters and chafing. Your heels absorb more than their fair share of impact, which is why we created Pedag STOP. These high-quality, adhesive heel grips are handmade in Germany from soft suede leather. Whether you need a little extra padding to get the perfect fit in your favorite shoes or need some soft cushioning to prevent blisters, Pedag STOP is perfectly engineered to support your feet in comfort. The adhesive on the STOP is strong, so you’ll want to make sure you have them positioned exactly where you want them before you press them on. Our water-based adhesive won’t irritate sensitive skin or damage your shoes. STOP fits any women’s or men’s shoe sizes easily – simply measure where you want it to make sure the soft heel grip comes into contact with your heel. Allow STOP to cure for at least an hour to ensure a tight, permanent adhesion. STOP is designed to be a permanent addition to your shoes, so you don’t have to keep removing flimsy heel pads or worrying about them slipping. Ultra-soft suede leather feels great on the heels and prevents blisters and chafing, both from rubbing against the backs of the shoes and from slipping out of the shoes when you walk due to an improper fit. STOP is versatile and perfect for men and women. It works great on shoes worn with or without socks – just measure the fit before you attach the heel grips. STOP is perfect for people with non-standard shoe sizes too, especially narrow or small feet. If you wear heels, flats, or dress shoes that fit perfectly everywhere else but are a little too loose in the back and slip off when you walk, then STOP can provide the extra grip you need for an ideal fit. Pedag products are made in Germany.

The Stop grips are designed to be soft, yet hard wearing. The choice of suede not only provides some grip, but are so gentle you'll forget they're there. You can walk through the whole day and never be reminded how torturous your shoes used to be!. These pads measure 4.5 inches long by 1.6 inches high, and are One Size Fits All. They're 0.12 inches (about 3 mm) thick, providing just enough cushioning to prevent abrasions while staying thin enough to not crowd your foot. Stop suede grips are intended to be used only once. Insert them into shoes and leave them there, rather than swap them between pairs. Multipacks of 3, 5 and 10 pairs are available for multiple pairs of shoes needing a little bit of extra padding. These simple little pads are thin enough to provide real grip without adding uncomfortable bulk. They're easy to insert--just peel off the backing, press into your shoe and hold for about 30 seconds. Once they've worn through, they can be peeled off and replaced without damaging your shoes. Prevent blisters and make shoes fit better with these elegant little heel grips! pedag's Stop pads are a great solution for shoes you love to look at and hate to wear. If you have a narrow heel (or just a narrow foot), these vegetable tanned suede leather grips keep your foot from sliding out of your shoes. They also help if your feet fall between sizes and half sizes by adding just a smidge more of space.

Good with caveats!
Having wide feet and one foot almost half a size smaller than the other, I often find my smaller foot fits loosely in the shoe. I have tried layering moleskin, which used to work nicely until the quality of moleskin in the past few years has declined. The newer (even name brand) moleskin barely adheres to a new shoe and appears to be about 1/4 the thickness of previous offerings. In searching the interwebs for useful information, I came across the Pedag brand several times. A German brand, I assumed that counted for something, since they generally export decent stuff, so I ordered a pack of these for my various (including bicycle) shoes. The instructions are straightforward, as one would expect, although installation not easy for my cumbersome fingers into the tight heel. The adhesive is strong, sticking well on contact. The adhesive is not designed for removal and reapplication, but I was able to move the first one around and reapply to satisfy my OCD. Latter attempts were better, and I learned to just let it go, and not attempt reapplication. I expected the first one to not stay attached after some wear, and it did start to peel at the edges. After several days it is still attached, but peeled at the edges. Unfortunately, the other single applications are also peeling at the edges. What I did find useful was to peel back the edges on these and apply some hot melt glue (using a Dewalt hot glue gun), which seems to be working much better than the adhesive. Just peel it back and inject some glue, and quickly compress in place. Of course it is hot and you will burn yourself, but It is only momentary. I will try next time with gloves and maybe wax paper? As for helping my annoying smaller foot, they grips do seem to work. Not perfectly, of course, as my foot is still a bit loose, but much better than before. I suppose a cobbler would be the next, better option, and I may look into that. Save for the adhesive issue, these are recommended and get four stars!

Seem to be pretty much as advertised.... Worth a try if you need them!
I've seen similar heel grips for sale at my local Rite-Aid pharmacy, but they cost a little bit more than I bought these for off Amazon. I used these in the back of a new pair of Sketchers tennis shoes, after I got the shoes home and realized my heel was slipping up and down a bit in them, tearing up the backs of my heels if I walked/ran around all day with them on. I can't say these solved my problems 100%. They seem like they'd be ideal if they had just a little bit more padding to them. But they do make the shoes wearable now. I talked to a guy who says he's sold shoes for over 20 years, and he insists heel slippage is a pretty common problem because according to him, there's more variance in a given shoe size than most people realize. He says people who, for example, believe they wear a 9 1/2 may actually need a 9 or a 10 for a proper fit, depending on the brand of the shoe or even among different types of shoes from the same manufacturer. He may be right about this ... but all I know is, I've always had a perfect fit when I buy New Balance tennis shoes in a "wide" width, in my supposed actual shoe size. When I tried these Sketchers (also offered in a wide width), that's where this heel slip problem came up. Otherwise, they feel like a great fit. This was a good "fix" for a few bucks, vs. having to give up a pair of shoes I liked other than the heel slippage.

Not Ideal for Designer Shoes
While I think that these might work on some shoes, particularly those that you are most likely to wear with pants, unfortunately the thickness and color is clearly visible in heels if you wear them with a dress (or shorts, or ankle pants). Also, they will absolutely destroy your shoes if you try to take them off. Given you don't want them falling off, the stickiness is generally a good thing, but if you put them on a pair of shoes that are beautiful, you realize that these make your shoes ugly, and when you try to take them off, you are going to be super mad when they rip the leather on the inside of your pretty shoes. I purchased these for a pair of So Kate heels because the angle of the arch makes it difficult to prevent the shoes from sliding off your heels. Not only did they not work at all (which may just be because I wear them with very slippery, silky stockings, and these grips had no grip), but when I took them off, it involved a lot of cursing and patience to avoid destroying the inside of my shoe. The concept is fine, but if your shoes are such that it will be readily noticeable that you have gray padding at the heel, go for the clear versions that you can buy on here or in most retail stores. I do not wear Louboutin heels so that I can look like an old lady with very visible gray heel support anytime pants are not covering the back of my shoe. On another note, if you are considering these for heels, consider the inserts that you can place in the toe box under the ball of your foot. They keep your foot from sliding forward in the shoe, which then minimizes the extra space between your heel and the shoe. If you get the thin version, for a shoe with a small toebox, it doesn't smush your toes anymore than usual, but it does make the shoe feel a bit tighter and in conjunction with the clear heel grips, works perfectly if your shoes like to flop off your heels when you wear tights or slippery stockings.

ordered these multiple times
My spouse orders these, i think he's on his 2nd or 3rd order of them, of the ones he has tried these are the better quality. These work on boots that chew up the back of the heel because they are too loose. throw these in the boot and they prevent the heel from slipping. they don't last forever, but it's adhesive in a work-boot. they start to wear down from everyday use, which is to be expected. this company ships very quick.

Does the Trick
Used for a pair of shoes that fit about 1/2 a size too big. The heel grip sticks well and wraps inside the back of the shoe nicely. Comfortable when wearing. My shoes are still a little loose but dont sli off when walking. I'm satisfied.

So far so good.
Adhesive is good quality, grips have a good feel to them and are definitely keeping my heel in place (Allbirds tree lounger slip-ons). I have only worn these with socks so I cannot comment on bare heels, which I intend to try come Australian summer time. I wanted a suede finish because any form of plastic / silicone heel grip I find gets sweaty. I am led to believe that Pedag are one of the best in this (niche) business.
