Beautiful little shoes, but...

I bought these little shoes in silver & pink for my twin daughters who were learning how to walk. They are beautiful and well made, but they couldn't stand up in them. On carpet, tile or wood flooring, they kept slipping face forward. There was absolutely no traction and they fell a lot. I think they are perfect for colder days to help keep babies' little feet warm (with socks) but for walking? We had no luck there.
