This is "THE FILTER"

I have been using this TSGAC-10 the past month and came recommended by Pentek's Tech Group. I was still having SOME Water hardness issues along with scale build up in my glass Turtle Tank, using their UDS-10EX1 cartridge filter. I'm happy I e-mailed Pentek, as the water hardness components and scale, have been further reduced for my specific application, using their TSGAC-10. Chlorine removal TEST is tops too. This filter is designed for under the kitchen sink install, for our city treated cold tap water. The water still has a fabulous taste and the Keurig coffee reservoir does not have any scale build up to speak of. Of course, when the water is heated, more ingrediants in the water are removed. For a top end under the sink for city cold tap water filter, I highly recommend. Update 9/25/20: My Keurig coffee maker gets cleaned with CLR every 6 months and could probably go 12 months as there is very little scale build up, with the TSGAC-10. I have replaced this filter every 6 months and could probably go 12, with the amount of cold kitchen tap water gallons we use. We fill up bottles for our drinking water. It is the best compared to bottled water from the store.

Not my favorite, makes a lot of carbon fines

Made in China, makes a lot of carbon fines, despite running it quite a bit. Price was right, but I won't buy it again
