Could use a handle on top.

The Winterberry pattern is very pretty. I think you could even use it year round. This butter dish is high quality and has a good weight. I do wish it had a handle and this is why I am only giving 4 stars. The lid is heavy. After buttering my roll it is slippery to replace the lid by gripping it by the sides and then it’s slippery for the next person to lift it again after that. If you have a lot of guests it needs to be wiped down often or else just left open. If Pfaltzgraff made a butter dish with a handle on top, I would have most certainly gone with that but since they don’t, I am happy with the one I have and have received compliments on this pattern from my guests.
