Leather split open the first time worn.

Wore these for the first time on New years eve, and was very disappointed to find the leather had split open between the palm and the base of the thumb during the short 15 - 20 minutes of wearing them during a car ride to a dinner party. I received these gloves as a Christmas gift, so I would have a good looking pair of gloves to wear on date nights and during outdoor social events, so it's extremely sad they didn't even last long enough to make it to the first event.
