Like the frame style, lenses aren't really "sunglasses"

I like this old-school preppy style of sunglasses. The colors they come in make them fun as well. The construction and quality of the glasses are excellent, so why only three stars? Well, I purchased the dark blue pair, the only ones with a polarized lens. You can't tell from the online pictures, but the lenses are so light I would be hard-pressed to call these "Sunglasses." I could easily see not only my eyes clearly through the lenses while looking in the mirror, but I also could make out the color of my eyes. These, although stylish and polarized or UV Coated, would offer little to no protection from the sun. Sadly, I sent these back within an hour of trying them on - I REALLY like the overall style, but what's the point of having sunglasses that aren't really sunglasses?
