The Pool Mate Forest Green Winter Pool Cover will protect your pool from winter elements. This is a solid winter pool cover that will not allow water to pass through its material. The Pool Mate Forest Green Winter Pool Covers is constructed of extra heavy-duty polyethylene. All seams are heat sealed for better performance. The green topside of this pool cover is coated to prevent UV damage. Please order by your pool size, as the overlap goes beyond the pool size listed. This cover includes a four-foot overlap. If you have a very large top rail, please consider a larger pool size. This cover should be able to comfortably float on the pool water without excessive stress. This cover is not meant to be used as a debris cover during the swimming season. This winter pool cover is intended to be used during the off-season. This cover is meant for traditional above ground pools with a traditional top rail. Includes a winch and cable that should be used to secure your pool cover through the grommets around the perimeter of the pool cover. For extra securing, cover clips and cover wrap (both sold separately) are suggested for pool closing. No other method of installation is recommended..

It takes two

It’s a lot bigger that I expected. It covers the entire pool and stays in place during some high winds. However, the rain settled on top and we had to scoop it off, but the pool was still clean underneath.

Great cover and Cable and customer service

Put this cover on and threaded the cable through all the holes. When I went to put the winch on it fell apart in my hand. I was able to keep it together temporarily. Sent an email straight to Pool Mate on a Sunday afternoon and heard back from them right away Monday morning. They are sending a replacement winch out immediately.

Lower price average quality pool cover.

The tarp is performing its intended purpose by covering pool. The quality though seems a bit less than one I purchased last year. I pray it survives the winter and UV exposure. It was almost half the price. These tarps say they will last 5 years but that is definitely not the case. You will have to buy a new one each season. Just pray it makes it till pool opening in March/April. Barely made it the season. The warranties are a joke. I paid $134 for a tarp one year and $89 for this one second year. Both. Were headed into catastrophic failure and would not last any longer than one season. They do not hold up. The companies I am sure know this.

There is no 15 year warranty

Vendor show a picture of a 15-year warranty, but there is no way to contact them. The link is not working. Amazon gave me the phone number, and the vendor state that he doesn't sell on Amazon. Amazon does nothing to help. This is false advertising. This cover lasted one season, then ripped. Ebay has a better warranty. Goodbye, Amazon.

Seems to be well made.

I gave it a 5 star for durability, but I will be able to tell more when I remove it in the spring. I just got it new this fall. It does seem to be heavy duty.

Warranty is impossible to obtain

Used the product for half a summer and became brittle and tried to contact the company for a insurance claim but of course found anything to say that not how the product was intended of use. Crappy customer support would not recommend.
