Designed by runners, for runners - The PowerStep® PULSE® line of shoe insoles were designed specifically for use in advanced running shoes during rigorous athletic activity. Our entire line of PULSE® insoles provide the perfect blend of stability and cushioning during athletic activity to simultaneously increase comfort, help reduce fatigue and improve the efficiency of your stride. By combining the proven PowerStep® arch shape with built-in neutral arch support shell, a stabilized heel cradle for improved and proper alignment, top cover that helps control heat, friction and perspiration with the soft, resilient use of energy activating PORON®, all our PULSE® insoles reduce stress on the feet, ankles, joints, and tendons but each line also offers their own unique benefits as well. PULSE® Performance - These are a great choice for those with neutral arches who are looking for a little extra support while running. Neutral arches tend to naturally pronate, which is when the feet and ankles roll slightly inward, placing pressure on the bigger toes and inside of the foot, causing mild to moderate pronation. Mild to moderate pronation which can cause: Plantar Fasciitis; Achilles Tendonitis; arch, heel, ankle, knee, hip & back pain; shin splints, bunions, heel spurs, hammer & claw toes, and calluses & corns. PULSE® Maxx - All the same benefits of PULSE® Performance but with a firmer orthotic arch support shell and an angled heel platform which allows for greater correction and alignment. These are more beneficial for those who tend to have arch and foot pain caused by common foot conditions related to overpronation. Overpronation can cause: Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, Metatarsalgia, Morton's Neuroma, arch, heel, ankle, knee, hip & back pain, shin splints, bunions, heel spurs, hammer & claw toes, calluses & corns. ◈SPECIAL NOTE◈ First time PowerStep® users may need a transition period of wearing insoles only a few hours a day until feet are accustomed to all day support and stability.

Insoles are great… but used?
I have a pair of these insoles I got from a local running store but ordered another two pairs in order to stop rotating the same pair throughout the 3 pairs of shoes I regularly wear. The insoles that arrived did not come with the manufacturers box, were loose in a bag, and had a little bit of discoloration on them in the toe area, like they had been used. Comparing them to the pair I was already using, the logo was cleaner and more prominent so even if they were used and returned I decided not to bother returning them because a) pain in the butt and b) I need them c) they obviously hadn’t been used much. But if I didn’t already have a pair I would be annoyed it didn’t come with the box because there can be useful info on it. Also paying full price (and these aren’t cheap) for something that is sort of like a “floor model” is annoying. But the insoles are great.

Arch support is a little too high and rigid for me
I ordered these Powerstep PULSE Maxx insoles thinking that they would be good support for my overpronation problem. And they may work for you. They do appear to be quality insoles but I returned them. I compared them to custom orthotics that I have and also to another quality brand of insole that has worked well for me. The Powerstep PULSE Maxx arch was a little too high for me and felt a little too rigid. My running days are over but I do some really fast power walking. I was going to use these insoles in my new running/walking shoes. But as I was saying, these Maxx insoles seem to be a little too much support for me. Maybe I would have gotten used to them but I didn't want to take a chance on potential injury. I decided to order other insoles that have already worked well for me.

Good but not special
These insoles are fine, maybe because they were doctor recommended and $50 I expected miracles. Bought them for a trip to Disney. They didn't feel much different from my Tommy Copper insoles at half the price...if they were cheaper I would definitely purchase again.

Insole
If you need a supportive insole, this is great. My heal pain has subsided.

Amazing!
I envision myself has a weekend warrior hiker and loved going on 20-30 mile hikes every weekend...until I injured both of my arches. It was so bad I could barely hobble around. I did some research and discovered I was likely suffering from lack of arch support (duh, silly me). I pulled the insoles out of my hiking boots and after several years of hiking (likely hundreds of miles) those insoles were like paper mache; no good. I picked up multiple insoles for each of my boots and shoes and settled on these for my hiking boots. I'm incredibly happy with these insoles and while I'm still recovering, I have been able to hike up to 7 miles without serious pain in my arches. Don't ignore your arch support, especially as you get older. Most factory insoles are a cheap afterthought from the manufacturers. Spend a little money for quality insoles that properly support your foot and you will thank yourself in the long run.

Product/quality is good although a bit over priced. Have purchased 2 pair.

Alleviated my knee pain
I bought this Powerstep orthotic and the more expensive Superfeet one. I wondered if one would last longer than the other but 30 days on they're wearing about the same. I like this one better for being slightly higher than Superfeet. I don't switch my orthotics out when I wear different shoes so I'll end up buying at least one more pair of these when my credit card recovers.

Great insoles with terrible durability
These insoles brought my Brooks Glycerin 19’s to the next level eliminating heel rubbing and annoying feeling of insole edge under foot. That said, they just don’t hold up! Very disappointed in the durability. I’ve had lots of insoles over the years and most are still good to this day. Some have seen 100s of miles of intense mountain and desert hiking and are still great. I don’t know what materials exactly are failing in these but where most inserts show a ‘rubbed down’ wear under heels or ball of foot these actually have broken out material leaving holes. Almost as if they weren’t properly adhered to the base. I should probably add pics to better explain this phenomenon. It feels like just bad manufacturing. I only wear the shoes these are in for a five mile walk each day. Thats it. I don’t wear them casually. The missing chunks began appearing over a month ago. I think the review shows date of purchase. Again, the design and comfort is the best I’ve ever had… Just be ready to spend the $50 every couple months if you walk/run much.

Good insoles
Good quality, I am 250+ and the arch support holds up after a week of steady use at work.
