Better than your standard pipe clamp but...

I really like these clamps because they have the bridge and are offered for both left-hand and right-hand hoses. Better than your standard pipe clamp, but the only reason I give it a 4 star (and not 5) is because the clamps can only be tightened down to a certain circumference. I wish these had more slots in the band to screw it tighter. Other than that, these do the job.

Good product but misses the obvious

I guess it's indeed fine with 4" tubes, but falls short for diam. 100mm tubes which are ubiquitous on the metric site of the force. It would have taken just a few extra slots !

They are actually right handed

I bought these and the Taytool clamps. These Powertec 70225 clamps are actually right handed. If the wire in your 4" hose spins clockwise as it moves away from you, it's right handed and the 70225 will work great. I'm going to get another couple of packs now that I know they spin the right way.

Plenty of clearance

I use both the finger clamp and regular screw clamps. Thumb screw are a bit more convenient not having to grab a drill or screw driver. The issue I've found with some of the finger screw clamps is they aren't big enough to really fit over the hose and any connection you may have on (e.g. quick connect). These have plenty of room and hold plenty tight just with the finger clamp.

Does the job!

These work as expected. While you might think you'd connect your hoses and never take them off, I find I am moving things around regularly, so having the ability to quickly and easily disconnect and reconnect is great.

Shipping was fast, I used these to connect my dust collection system to my table saw and planer. They work fine, easy to install and use as there are no tools required to tighten. Appear to be of decent quality.

Good price. Well made. Clips on/off easily.

Good price. Well made. Clips on/off easily. I used it to connect a 4" dust collection hose to my dust collector. I need to switch it quite often so it is ideal that it clips on/off so easily. Seals properly and is customized for the expanding 4" dust collection hose.

the design is really useless IMO more space seems is used up in certain applications. better if just went straight around with no offset.
