Fits well, but insert non-standard

I purchased this for use on a Wen 4214T drill press. It fits well. No problems clamping it, the adjustment crank clears the back of the table. Everything seems to be fine, except the insert. I was going to cut a few extra inserts before this one gets chewed up, but the MDF is a non-standard thickness. Thicker than 1/4 inch, but thinner than 1/2 inch. It isn’t even a whole metric size. I will probably have to make replacements from 1/2 inch lumber that I plane down to size. So much for cheap MDF.

Get what you pay for.

This was not the cheapest or 'pro quality', so I didn't expect to much but paid alittle more hoping for sturdy construction. Would have been a 2 star due to tightening the underneath clamps, the railing screws popped right out. Upon inspecting the other screws they were not tight. I had larger flat head screws, and glue, so repaired flaw myself, as I neede to use it when it was delivered. I was attaching to a smaller drill press (8") and it worked without the modification I was expecting. For this I gave it 1 more star. The railing system does work well. I would like to have seen the top project hold downs to be longer and will have to make some myself. The larger table is fine, but poor quality pressboard. This is inexpensive table that will not take much pressure, use on smaller projects, or on a secondary drill press. This is where mine will be or I would have returned it.

Good Table after...

Love the table . although the width of both tracks need to be almost even to mount correctly on drill press. I had to install mine upside down no problem to me honestly other it might be.. Yep had to change screws in track.. no issue added glue as well not it does not move. Bought a second fence and wow that was like super help and having a third set of hands As my first table like this. So far it is very good. I gave 4 stars because they used to small a screw in securing the T tracks.

Disappointed but hopeful

One of the t-tracks began to break away from the table as I tightened a clamp. My solution was to (1) glue the t-tracks in their slots and (2) replace the 1/4" inch wood screws with 3/4" 8-32 flat head bolts with nuts, drilling through the table and countersinking the holes. This modification should suit my light, occassional use. I'm sure there are better drillpress tables out there for the money ($120), but I try to avoid products made in mainland China if I can. Powertec products are supposedly manufactured in Taiwan.

Won't fit all drill presses

This table blocks the crank for the height adjustment on my press. It seems like a nice enough table, but it would be a pain to remove every time I need to adjust the height.

Great Purchase!!!

I was looking at drill press tables and t-tracks for a new workbench I'm building and got lucky! I didn't want to put a WEN table on my 12" BILT HARD! Anyways, I am really grateful to come across PowerTec's t-track systems. I just started on my VERY 1st, personal (yes, it's not in someone's shop), track system and like the quality, value, and options. I made the mistake and purchased 24" sets from another company and totally regret it. The pics show better. Nevertheless, I am happy with Powertec. Great Job!
