Silicone not as stiff as anticipated, beautiful handle and color

I bought these to replace Kitchenaid Nylon (over a decade old) spoon and spatula. I got the spoonula and spatula in blue. The color is gorgeous and the wooden handles are so pretty. BUT -- if you're expecting a true replacement for a spatula, you will be disappointed like I was. It's very flexible. It's nice for scraping out my Vitamin blender or stirring something soft, but forget stirfry or trying to scoop rice. It's too floppy. I'm not returning them as they will have their purpose in the kitchen, but beware that these are not the stiffer silicone you see but rather the softer silicone.

I love the design of combined real wooden handles and grey silicone. Pleasure to hold it and work with in the kitchen!
