Thread Type: Coarse, Thread Class: UNC-2B. The side with the nylon insert should face towards the tip of the bolt, not towards the surface being fastened. Can also be used as a secondary nut to help lock the main nut in place. Great for use in applications where the bolt may be subject to vibration. Features an internal nylon ring that grips bolt threads better than a standard finished nut. Size: 1/2 inch-13.

Great value

Great value. Appears to be good quality. A bit thick form my uses, but nice thing about SS is you can grind it down a bit to make it thinner without worrying about rust.

Froze

The nut froze on one of the stainless bolts I also purchased, I was using it on my dock so I had to lay and try to break it loose but could not, had to then get a saws all and cut my new bolt so I could only use 3 instead of the four I needed, I am 66 years old so it was not a fun experience.

I needed this for an underwater function on a pool cleaner it works quite well.

Cheap

Only one worked with the rest getting bound up on the bolt and had to be cut off. I would suggest staying away from these.
