Good for one side
Worked for my left side but the right side I had to re drill the aluminum and still was a “rigup” to get working

Cranks for Glass Jalousie Windows ... work sort of OK, but QC is pretty bad
I originally bought some replacement cranks at Lowes ... same manufacturer as these, the cranks from Lowes allegedly being "universal" replacements. Except that weren't. The arms of these cranks had a slight offset while the other allegedly "universal" cranks have no offset. I tried using those "universal" cranks. But they wouldn't work since the straight crank arm hung up on a revet head in the Jalousing mechanism. Hmmm. I then looked closely at the original cranks (which were badly corroded), and noted that the operating arms had an offset in them. Lowes didn't have that variety, but I found these on line at Amazon. These cranks work OK, but the operating arm is perhaps a half inch longer than it should really be ... at least for the windows in my rental unit (which windows must be about 35 years old). The problem with the longer than needed operating arms manifests itself when two neighboring cranks are installed ... if one window is fully open and the other is closed the two operating arms tend to interfere with each other. If both windows are in same same position (opened or closed), there is no interference. That alone might well be mostly a minor annoyance. But the operating arms get attached (by the user) with a supplied small pin and a C clamp. As luck would have it when the two operating arms interfere as noted above, they are in just about a perfect position for one to push the C clamp off the pin (and thus out the window) of the other one. Well that could certainly be a pain if your renters manage to disconnect the operating arms merely by opening one window while the other one is closed. I positioned the C clamps such that when the arms interfere, they tend to push the C clamp on rather than off. So that's why I say that these cranks work "sort of" ok. About Quality Control (QC). I bought two cranks from Amazon. I could see from the clear packaging that the operating arm was missing from one of the two packages. It obviously had not been opened ... so the manufacturer just missed the boat (ok, they missed the operating arm). But that means I had to order another (replacement) crank and since Amazon wanted the old crank back, I had to return it. And that entailed a special trip to a UPS Store. You start wondering why you are bothering to do that for a $15 product. I think I did it in hopes that Amazon will return this to the manufacturer and tell them to stick it someplace. I wrote on the packing about the missing crank arm, so hopefully someone else isn't sent my returned crank. So overall, I am NOT an especially happy with this product.
