These window screen tension springs are constructed of heat treated spring steel and come in a zinc plated finish. Tension springs of this style mount onto the sides of aluminum screen frames and provide holding tension when inserted into sliding window screen channels. These tension springs will fit into 5/16 in. or thicker screen frame material. Requires two 3/16 inch holes drilled into the screenft.s edge for installation.

Good

These were quick and easy to insert into my screen’s clip slots. The slots are spaced 3.5 inches apart so these clips are the perfect length. The screen was back in the frame in less than a minute and is holding solidly. Can’t ask for better results than that.

Lifesaver

These clips are the only thing that keeps my screens attached to my windows and are insanely easy to lose. A friend told me to check Amazon & glad I did.

It is a little wider than the original clip, and I had to bend it sideways away from the screen face to make it fit. But honestly, that is a MINOR issue given that it is a generic part that is like $2 for 6. This is a decent replacement deal.

Perfect!

I have no idea how old my screens are but I know that I lost a couple of these when I took them out to replace some torn mesh. These were exactly what I needed. Not anything too complicated but if you don't have the right piece it doesn't matter how complicated or simple it is, right? These did the trick.

These were a little short as replacement but did the job with a new hole for one end. Note that at least one mouting hole needs to be elongated for these to work right
