“LOW PROFILE” is important!
I ordered 2 sets of two of these to replace the Traxxas Sledgehammer tires that fell apart within a couple of months on my Traxxas Hoss 1:10 3S VXL 4x4. I almost exclusively run Pro-Line wheels and tires once the OEM tires give out, with the exception of Arrma’s tires. They seem to be made nearly as durable as Pro-Lines. I’m particularly attracted to the Pro-Line Trenchers and run different sizes on my 1:5 X-MAXX and 1:8 E-REVO 2.0. So naturally when I was ready to replace my Hoss’ wheels and tires I went for the Pro-Line Trenchers. I didn’t notice the difference in the listing for the “LP” set and the “HP” set, other than the price and the fact that the “HP” set is belted. Not wanting to spend a ton on this set, I went for the “LP” but didn’t know that it meant “Low Profile” or that one 2.8” tire could be a completely different size all together than another 2.8” tire. I put these on my Hoss once I received them and was pretty disappointed. The tires are tiny in real life and drove as if they were tiny on my Hoss. It rode low to the ground so I had no clearance and constantly got stuck on things, it slowed my Hoss down due to the gear ratio being completely different, and the lower weight of these low profile tires made the Hoss stop responding in the air and no longer able to self right itself. Outside of those things, the tires are pretty decent. Since I had already driven and used them, I decided to forego the hassle of returning them and figured I’d put them on a different RC. My Arrma Typhon 6S V5 had long burnt out the Katar’s it came with and was nearly bald on it’s current dBoots Hoons Gold Label street tires (these tires are a RIPOFF, they could easily be bald and no longer useable in one driving session). However, my Typhon has 17mm hexes. So I purchased the Pro-line adapter to make these Trenchers 17mm hexes and got them on my Typhon 6S. While the tires perform well on the Typhon and make it fun to drive, they aren’t perfect on it either. They balloon like crazy at high speeds so I mainly save them for bash sessions and use my dBoots 2HO’s for bashing where I need a bit more clearance and then have a set of dBoots Hoons on the way for the street. This left my Hoss without wheels and tires again though, so I bit the bullet and came back to Amazon to purchase the “HP” Trenchers which are much larger and belted. Currently awaiting on their arrival.

THE L.P in the description means low profile.
These are low profile tires. Not monster truck tires. You need the 1170-10 tires if you want big tires. They look ridiculous on my stampede 4x4. I will be getting the correct tires but for now( untill I save up another 80$) I am stuck with these. Proline needs to put the " low profile" after the L.P in the description for novices like me.

These made my 2wd Rustler into a beast
The media could not be loaded. Perfect amount of traction. I can rip it up off road, turn sharp on road while also power sliding if I choose. I put stock tires back on the front. Set my highest speed record with these. 55 mph, before a worn out yoke u joint on one rear drive shaft popped off and I couldn’t slow down in time. Lol tried to turn still doing I bet almost 40 and hit the curb. Should have her back in action in about a week.

Quality construction
Tires arrived as expected: well packaged and complete. These tires have a medium rubberized grip that is strong enough to last awhile, yet soft enough to provide excellent traction in various conditions. They are slightly low profiled, compared to its stock tires, but not so much that they look out of scale. In my opinion, I feel these tires add a more aggressive look to the Rustler, and will perfectly fit both 2wd and 4wd versions. Tires are pre-glued and assembled, and for the price you cannot beat it.

These RC tires work great for running in the dirt!
These tires are great for my son’s Traxxas Stampede! They are made from fairly hard rubber, are pre-glued to the rims, and they have good traction and seem to work better on dirt than on pavement. They will wear down much faster on pavement. Would highly recommend these tires if you’re looking for a quality affordable set.

no drain holes in tires
nice tire, good traction but no drain holes in tire. holes in rim, so if you run through water the tires fill and blow out do to the water being trapped. drilled holes in tire after 1st blowout.

The glued tires separate from the rims need to regular.
I like the tires they seam to wear VERY well but the tires come glued and the glue didn't hold up had to regular them.
