Not for chunky legs
After I broke my ankle I bought this so I wouldn't have to sleep in my full boot. It's ok. If you have a chunky leg don't buy it. It won't fit. My leg had lost a lot of its mass and the straps fit just so. There are 2 straps, one elastic, one not. I would have preferred 2 elastic straps, but since it was only temporary I didn't bother to get a second one. There isn't much padding on the inside. It has nice compression on the foot strap. On the whole my foot was held in place nicely and I didn't have to worry about re-injuring it while sleep.

light weight brace
I had an avulsion fx of my foot a few months ago--I re-injuried the foot, but it did not rebreak. This splint allowed me to walk on my heel for a couple of weeks using a walker--- until I could put wt on the front of my foot. This is NOT a heavy duty splint, with metal inserts, etc. It does not provide the ankle support like the heavy duty one did---but for this time, it did help me to keep my foot pointed up.

Very Happy
I had ankle surgery 4 weeks ago for a broken tibie and fibula. I just got my cast off and wear the brase when I move around the house. It is very light, yet sturdy. It just does not have a huge amount of padding and does not keep my foot at 90 degrees, but I am able to exercise my ankle in it and put a shoe on over it. I cannot put weight on my foot yet so I wear a huge, heavy air cast when I leave the house. The combination of both is working perfect for me.

I don't know if it's just me but this didn't ...
I don't know if it's just me but this didn't seem to offer any support for my ankle. Originally my doctor was going to give me one in the office but it would have been double the price so I ordered it on Amazon. I don't know if it was user error putting it on, but it seemed to slip around and i didn't feel as supported as I did with my other brace. I have really small feet so that could have been part of the problem.

Useful after an ankle fracture
I liked this for sleeping after I broke my ankle. Just enough protection from the blankets, the cat, and moving around! During the day, the boot was better full protection. I also wore this swimming and in the hot tub. Made some people more careful around me and I felt more secure.

Ankle support brace
I was disappointed with the fit. It was very bulkie and super heavy. I had to return for refund.

i like that the fabric is "tough"
i like that the fabric is "tough", but I wish the straps weren't held on by Velcro. They have no loop to slide through and the straps get all stuck together a lot

Well worth the price. Great for ankle inversion!
Controlled my ankle inversion. Straps seem flimsy and stick to everything, making it a challenge to handle one-handed.

Not good for a small size 6 foot petite buile.
It's fine, but it is too big for my small leg. Probably would be better on someone larger. I returned it because it didn't fit.
