PROFOOT’s heel cups provide some relief, takes up less space than full insoles

The ProFoot Achilles Tendonitis Men's Orthotic Heel Cup is a lower profile alternative to traditional insoles, which sometimes feel bulky in my shoes. These don’t make me feel crowded or have to loosen my laces. I like that a lot. I find they do increase comfort for me, though I wouldn’t say they completely eliminate all pain. I feel they were definitely worth trying, and strongly suggest using these heel cup for open-toed shoes.

Super comfy. No more foot pain.

Super comfy. No more foot pain. I typically run 3-95 miles 3-4x per week and Plantar fasciitis just part of my life at this point. But these insoles help... a lot.

Sturdy heel cup insert. Alleviate heel pain.

The ProFoot Achilles Tendonitis Men's Orthotic Heel Cups are quite sturdy. They provide support and help alleviate the heel pain or soreness experienced from extended standing or walking. One thing to note is that it is an insert, it has no adhesive bottom and no sticky pads or double-sided tape provided. It may shift out of place a bit depending on your shoes/ insoles. I put the insert under the relatively thin shoe insole; it seems fine and stays put.

Occasionally shifts out of place

My partner and I both suffer from Achilles tendinitis so we got the female and male versions of the ProFoot orthotic heel cup to try. Each package comes with a pair of heel cups. The men’s version is a size 8-13. My partner’s shoe size is a men’s size 8.5 and these heel cups fit nicely in his work boots and sneakers. The heel cup is fairly thick so for some of the sneakers he tried, he had to take the insole out to be able to wear the sneaker comfortably. He did notice that occasionally the heel cups would shift and he would have to remove his shoes to move them back in place. The heel cups did a good job reducing the pressure on his heels throughout the day.

The only one to buy!

Of all the lifts for Achilles tendonitis that I’ve tried, this is the first to make a noticeable and lasting difference. While slightly more expensive than some, it is worth every penny. Highly recommended.
