Straps are too short, especially for those who have any inflammation around the ankles

The upper strap is useless when you have put your foot into the shoe. The lower strap is tight, but somewhat manageable. The straps at rest without one's foot, leg, etc. within the shoe look great, but for practical use, especially for someone like me who has lower extremity inflammation, they are useless. I am going to try to use extension velcro pieces to see if they will at least allow me to close the top of the shoe, but I do not know if the lower strap can be altered to give move room in that portion of my foot/leg. I failed to try on my shoes within the return period, so I stuck with them. This is very disappointing mechanical engineering from Propet.

Water proof, very awesome shoe!

Very good and comfortable shoe. The only problem I have is that they are water proof and not breathable. Not very good in hot environments but great for winter when you need to keep your feet warm.

STRAPP CLIFF WALKER BOOT IS MIS-SIZED AND UNCOFORTABLE

I BOUGHT TWO PAIRS OF PROPET CLIFF WALKER BOOTS. I LOVE THE LACE-UPS--THEY ARE PERFECT AND THIS IS MY SECOND PAIR OF THIS EXCELLENT PRODUCT. THE VELCRO STRAP MODEL IS DEFINITELY A DIFFERENT MATTER. THE VELCRO STRAP CLOSURE IS TOO LONG AND DOES NOT ADEQUATELY CLOSE THE BOOT TIGHT ENOUGH TO PROVIDE ANKLE SUPPORT OR FRANKLY TO KEEP THE BOOT ON YOUR FOOT. I HAVE ARTHRITIS IN THE HANDS SO A VELCRO CLOSURE IS PREFERABLE TO LACE UPS---BUT NOT THESE--I WOULD CONSIDER A REVISED MODEL THAT PROPERLY FIT ON A TRIAL BASIS. I DID RETURN THE STRAP BOOTS & RECEIVED A PROMPT REFUND. IT DID TAKE MY TIME AND RETURN POSTAGE.
