Not real leather

I had a pair of these maryjane shoes and loved them. So I bought this pair and definitely has been made cheaper. Very light weight, leather look but not real, and no arch like old pair. They are okay, but not made as well as before.

Great shoe!

I tried a few different work shoes before I settled on these. Best of the bunch! No rubbing/pain, and no break in period. I have a wide woot and the regular 10 fit perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

Improper Sizing

I had to return these as soon as they came in. I wear a size 6 and they fit like a size 8-9. Otherwise they seem sturdy but not very comfortable

Second Pair

I first bought this shoe in 2018. I absolutely love them and they have held up wonderfully. Unfortunately I was stuck in a deluge of rain and my shoes were soaked. To make it worse, after I dried myself off, I forgot to dry my shoes and the insoles curled up and wrinkled. I ordered my 2nd pair right away even though I fully intend on fixing my 1st pair. My new pair is somewhat inferior to my old pair. I'm still breaking them in ( I didn't have to break the first pair in ) but it seems like a lesser quality of leather was used to make them. They're VERY stiff and are causing blisters where the strap is attached. I am using the old tried and true rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball trick to make the leather softer and it's helping. I hope to have comfortable shoes after a few more applications and wearing them. Do Not expect to wear them for a full day right away as was possible in the past but once they're broken in I do expect that they'll be a good shoe. I'll update my review in a few weeks.

Quality seems to have declined from previous purchases.

Purchased this Propet Women's Mary Jane Walker in October 2022 for my disabled mother. Very limited usage. She didn't use them until January 2023 as she still had an older pair. However, upon starting to use them, the velcro receiver strap started fraying and eventually pulled off the top of the shoe. Basically only 2 1/2 months of use when this happened. Poor quality for the expensive price.

Good value

I have narrow heal, wide and fat toes, so I need a deep toe box. These shoes fit my toes. The heal is not narrow enough, but almost. I should have a combination last shoe, but it's next to impossible to find. I also wear orthotics for flat feet, I'm 66 and active. The shoe already has an arch support, but does not have the heal cradling needed for anti-pronation. Wish the company would add that, then I wouldn't need the orthotics in this shoe. There is enough cushioning to be comfortable for all-day use. As we age, we need more cushioning for the sole of the foot. A problem I've had with hook and loop fasteners on shoes is that they can't be tightened correctly for my foot. I always have to remove and resew after shortening the length. These shoes fit me perfectly at that point. The smooth (tread pattern not like a sneaker) soles mean that I don't catch on surfaces. I want these for dancing, Contra and English Country, and think they will work well. They squeak, thus a 4, not a 5. I usually buy Drew shoes and have several pairs, but they have gone up to $130+, ouch! How they will hold up to dancing for 2 hours, twice a week, we'll see.

Well made but feels like wearing shoes made out of metal

Extremely hard, inflexible and stiff. The upside is that they look cute (for orthopaedic shoes), they are well made and my super wide feet fit into them. Other than that I have to say that, even with good insoles in them, they are very uncomfortable. If you’ve ever worn wooden clogs, that’s what these feel like.

A truly wide fitting shoe.

A truly wide fitting shoe, lots of room in the toe box. Good grippy sole and not too flat. As I have a triple e foot with a high instep the only thing I would ask for is a little big longer strap so the velcro does not show so much. Overall very pleased.
