Good Replacement for My Failed Sony Speakers

Speakers were bought to replace a pair of Sony marine speakers that disintegrated. Installation was easy, though I did have to enlarge my speaker holes. Speakers sound good and look good.

Very good sound for the price.

Good value. Good sound. Says they are the direct replacement for the 1st generation Pyle speakers but you will need to widen the existing holes by roughly 1/4”.

Great value at a good price!

These speakers sound just ass good as their high dollar counter parts. I replaced a set of marine pioneer speakers and the sound was better than the pioneers ever sounded. Installation was also easy as they were a simple plug and play. Very impressed!

Good value

The speakers, for the price are excellent , my only complaint is that there should have been some better mounting instructions and maybe a some alternate mounting hardware ie: Molly screws or such. I wasn’t sure about the metal clips provided as to how they were to be used. Other than that the quality seems good . I mounted under soffit and they look nice and provide good sound

Do not cut out 6.75"!!!!

Cut out diameter is listed at 6.75" under speaker specifications, however this isn't right!!!! In an effort to save time I went against my better judgment and cut out holes in my RV ceiling before receiving my speakers. Well guess what, now the holes are too big and the speakers cannot screw into the wood!!! The speakers were supposed to come with a template which they didn't since Pyle obviously doesn't know how to measure. Even on the side of the speaker box it says cut out diameter 6.75" I ended up having to make 8x8 pieces of plywood and cut the holes out to more like 6". Added a ton if time to a project that should have been simple, what a joke. Speakers sound ok for the money but this really left a bad taste in my mouth

Good mid-range speaker

These speakers aren’t going to sound as good as a high end set, but for the price of them, they are hard to beat the value. Have them hooked up to a 800watt amp, and they sound good, not great, but good. You can definitely buy better sounding speakers, but not for this price !

Disappointed

The speakers distort on max volume with a 50 watt pioneer deh-x65bt driving them, very disappointed they sound clear until u try and play them loud would of bought something else if I had known they couldn’t hold up to so little power

I am not happy with this product.

Absolutely not what I expected, I have a 120 watt speakers that I was to replace with this thinking that a 600 watt would be a better option, existing 120 watt sounding much better than this product, speakers feel like toys, cheap plastic and sound quality not good at all specially when you crank up the music.

I had a set of 4 Pyle water proof, but once you start adding Amps/Subs they did not meet my standards, these however FOR THE MONEY are A+, sure I can spend $300.00 but No way, great clear sound, good bass, good high's and they look great
