The 5/8 in. supply tubing has an outside diameter (OD) of 0.700 in., internal diameter (ID) of 0.600 in. While other manufacturers use blended recycled material for their entire tubing, Raindrip poly tubing is constructed with an innovative layering method, using 100% virgin content for both inner and outer layers for a durability, and a middle layer of recycled content. Comes with one 500 ft. coil of 5/8 in. poly supply tubing; Works with Raindrip products and other products with compatible connection type. Poly tubing is constructed using a layering method for durability: the outer layer, which is exposed to the sun, and the inner layer, which is exposed to water, is made of 100% virgin content; the middle layer is composed of recycled content. Works in a variety of areas, from small to large, flat or sloped, to water trees, shrubs, flower beds, groundcover, vegetable gardens, plants in pots, planter boxes, and hanging baskets. Tubing outside diameter (OD) is 0.700 in., internal diameter (ID) is 0.600 in.; connects to point-of-connection device using appropriate fitting; emitters and feeder lines can be punched directly into the line or attached to the end. Love it!

I used this and some various couplings to fashion my own above ground irrigation system. 500 feet was definitely more than I needed but I didn’t struggle to have enough to finish the job. This is so much more discreet and customizable that traditional hoses. Very happy with how well this worked!

Easily kinks and hard to find fittings..

I was planning to use this drip tubing for a DIY irrigation system but noticed it kinks really easily under any sort of pressure. Due to this I returned the product. It’s also hard to find fittings for this size drip hose. I’d definitely go for 1/2” if you decide to go with this type of tubing for an irrigation system.

Lots of line, great quality, you'll need a sharp punch to get through it!

Heavy duty, great for a main line. Installed 120 feet of it and ran three zones with over 300 drip heads (some individual, most multi-head lines/laser lines.) You'll need a sharp, pointed punch to go through the line - I have a nice quality $7 metal one, but it's flat - did not work. My super-cheap $1 one worked great because it has a pointed tip.

Good luck finding adapters

The product is good. The problem is you will never find the adapters you need that fit this hose. Things like right angles, tee's, and any other adapter you might want. Go with 3/4.
