Add height to the emitter in your drip system using the 8 in. Sprinkler Stake with 4 in. Riser. Fits a low-flow sprinkler, sprayer, or jet with a ¼ in. barbed inlet or 10-32 threaded inlet on top of the riser. The riser sits on top of the sprinkler stake, where a barbed inlet fits ¼ in. supply tubing. Position stake to provide convenient overhead watering to your plants. Your hand-watering days are over! The riser is made of polyethylene and the stake is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), both treated with UV inhibitors. Drip irrigation systems are easy to customize, install, and operate. Plant Saver!

I added this to my window boxes so that they would get watered daily (I tend to forget). And they are now thriving! This was so easy to set up and now I never have to think about it!

Works great for the application, not durable.

I couldn't decided 3 or 4 stars and ended up deciding 4 star. all in all it does the job better then all that I have tried in my garden and flower beds. the sprinkler head stays exactly wear I point it others tend to slip or move and I was constantly having to re adjust. I've used this product for about 5 years now and the reason I considered 3 stars was the durability. Wear your quarter inch hose connects the plastic barb it always breaks off and cant be fixed. The first season when they are new its not a big issue, the second season after the sun works them over if you tap bump kick or look at them for to long they snap right off. I still have some originals steaks in low traffic areas but high traffic areas are all replaced at least once. I have a total of 5 zones and probably have about 60 of these sprinklers in the yard I have to replace between 8 and 15 each season. It gets irritating after a while but then I think of the coast of the break away steak ones and having to re adjust the sprinklers near nightly because they jumped in the steak every time the water comes on, so far this is the way to go.

They will break off where they are attached at the hose.

I have to replace them every year as they break. Also not that easy to hook up to the hose. I just bought them this year in a pinch. Will not buy them again.

They work well and are inexpensive

They work well, they're cheap, but the little plastic "nipple" that pushes into your 1/4 inch tubing is weak and Breaks off easily. Too easily.

Great in our greenhouse

These were exactly what we needed for watering our green house they work great and let you put what ever kind of sprayer you want. The only reason for 4 stars is they are relatively easy to break when connecting the hose
