Rugged

I'm sunglasses worst owner the more I try to protect my Ray Bans the more I thought I'd scratched or broked them I have 3 different pairs each show a little more wear than the other a little loose at the hinges each have my over protected scratches plus wear marks earned with daily use Ive learned to keep track of where they are and they'll take care of themselves I love them they are comfortable they protect my eyes and they look good

Definitely not glass lenses

Had been looking for this frame with *glass* G-15 lenses. Gave 4 starts instead of 5 because despite the product description, they are most definitely PVC. (Came with a manufacturer sticker.) Kept them anyway, as this is the 3rd pair I’d ordered that described the lenses as glass, but arrived as PVC, so I assume Ray-Ban must not make this style with glass lenses? Otherwise, very happy with quality. They also came in the case with a lens cloth, as Ray-Bans usually do. ????????

Looks and Feels Great, Rugged and Timeless, Just One Con With the Lenses. Men, Go With 55mm.

I purchased the RB2132 in tortoise shell, with G-15XLT lenses, and in size 55mm. I spent a lot of time reading about which size to buy. I am a male that weighs 172 pounds, and stands just under 5'11". I have a relatively small head (based on the hat size I buy). I ended up going with 55mm, even though my gut told me to get the smaller size. I am glad I didn't, because the 55mm looks and feels great. I don't have a big head at all, and these sunglasses look great, at this size. Otherwise, the quality is top notch, and these glasses are simple and feel rugged. The tortoise shell is dark, and can almost look black while somebody is wearing them. Sometimes the light hits the frame just right, and gives them a little more character then plain old black. I highly recommend this frame color for a man or for a woman. The lenses also seem to be of high quality. I like that they are made of glass instead of plastic, which I feel will make them more scratch resistant. I just feel like glass seems to be of higher quality then plastic. The only con I can think of, is that sometimes I can see a minor reflection of my own face while wearing the sunglasses. At first I thought it was a smudge on the glass, but then realized it was my own eye that I was seeing a reflection of. This is only sometimes and under certain light conditions, but happens often when I'm driving to my left eye, the eye closest to the sunny window. I have always worn sunglasses that kind of wrap around the shape of the face, instead of this boxy type of style. So, I can only figure that I am seeing this because the lens sits a little bit out from the face, which is allowing me to see the reflection. This negative is still outweighed by the look, feel, and quality of these glasses. I received the black Ray-Ban case with my glasses. Overall, I think these are being sold at a great price for what you are getting, and highly recommend these sunglasses. I payed FULL PRICE for this item, and am of course giving my unbiased review.

Pay for what you get.

I’ve been a long time owner of rayban new wayfarers. I’m pretty tough on sun glasses, and told myself for a long time that’s why i bought cheap ones. This pair will be the 4th pair I’ve owned… I’m yet to genuinely “break” a pair, and I always have two pair (old ones and new ones), most of the time I get new ones when they’re: on sale, or I’ve inevitably lost a pair (usually found by a dog and destroyed). These sunglasses look great, fit well, and hold up to abuse dang well (one of my current pairs is going on 7 years). The best part is that they stay in style and you can always come back and get the exact same style as before.

Excellent quality and clarity, but not the best choice for everyday wear in bright sun

I liked a lot of things about these sunglasses: the fit, the materials and finishing, the clarity, and the style. But I had to return them because the lenses were not as dark as I wanted for everyday use in bright sun, too much light got in from the sides and back of the glasses, and there was a noticeable amount of reflected glare off of the back of the lenses. For casual use or cloudier days they would be great, but to be my one everyday pair of sunglasses they weren't the right choice for me. If I did decide to try the wayfarer shape again, I would definitely get the polarized lenses. I didn't think polarization would make that much of a difference, but I was really missing it when I tried these non-polarized ones out. The glass lenses are awesome. They really are super lightweight and thin, and are very clear with almost no distortion across the field of vision. I have a medium to large head and the 55mm size was right for me. The G-15 green tint is pleasant--it brightens up the world without making it garish, but I found I prefer a blue or gray tint for truer color. That's not to say these affect color dramatically, but it is noticeable.

The Wayfarers model that fits almost Everybodys face

I love sunglasses. These ones liked me the most cause of the shape, it fits good almost on every face. It's no so aggresive like the original wayfarers but it keeps the spirit. I inspect VERY CLOSE the building quality of the sunglasses and in this model the ONLY found TWO things i didn't like 1) The glasses are not tightly fixed in the sunglasses frame, cause when i wipe it gently it sound and it feels kind of loose. but it's just SLIGHTLY, enough to feel it but not for being a problem 2) I noticed (with the TORTOISE color model), that the frame is a transparent material with a brown tone AND on the exterior is painted with a texturized pattern that makes the TORTOISE model. I don't like the fact thet is PAINTED and not part of the FRAME material. But again, this is not a problem, it's just the quality expectations i have with sunglasses. The TORTOISE color can be noticed just if you look close (Like talking to a person), but a view from a far distance looks like BLACK, if you want them to look brown i recommend to look for the HAVANA model that is a lighter tone. OVERALL,I love how they fit in my face, liked the building quality and the color. I recommend it.

Great, Stylist sunglasses

I have always wanted to own a pair of Ray Bans. Not only are they classically stylish, they do a great job of reducing the glare of the sun. And they are protective of my eyes fromthe sun's harmful rays. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

If i could f*** them, I would.

I only really want to emphasize the 1st point. The flatten out enough to go in your shirt pocket with out looking like a tool. The lenses are buy far clearer and more visually enjoyable than the polarized. These feel more true to life.

Love these. My optometrist office wanted twice the price for same model. My son also bought a pair and took them into the optometrist afterwards to replace the lenses for prescription. Still cost less than if we were to buy them from doctors office or at the mall. We both love our Ray Bans

Calidad según lo esperado, precio razonable

Despues de buscar varios modelos diferentes me decanté por este y por la talla mediana. Estuve a punto de adquirir un modelo mas económico pero me di cuenta de que era lente marrón, un color que no me gusta ni por estética ni por el tipo de visión que ofrece. Encontré estas con las lentes gris oscuro, pero no mucho, el tono mas neutro con los colores y el que mas me gusta. Tambien he publicado algunas fotografias mostrando medidas por si alguien las encuentra útiles y para el aspecto real del artículo. En resumen, satisfecho con la compra, tanto por la oferta como la calidad.
