Quiet
The mini is handling the excess water with ease. I got it for the A/C on the boat and it is working great! Very quiet!

Works great, much quieter than other pumps
Bought this as a replacement for a Little Giant. Despite regular cleaning, that one burned out after I had a clogged line. The tubing diameter with the Mini Orange is a bit more reassuring; it's larger than on the Little Giant. It's significantly quieter, too. These pumps are installed above the ceiling, and they're barely noticeable above the soft rush of the mini split unit. Installation was easier than the Little Giant, too: just run the pigtail inside a box, throw on some wire nuts, and plug in the pump, and everything's done on the electrical side. (Tubing is the same as with any other condensate pump.)

Nice quiet pump
Used to replace "Little Giant" pump, two of which failed after one year of use as a condensate pump in split A/C unit. These pumps are very quiet and don't go on as often.

Short life span
Bought this unit to replace faulty one from another manufacturer for mini-split. Installed first week of October 2018 and used AC maybe 6 weeks (to pump condensate up and into drain). Summer 2019 is upon us and I fired up the AC unit only to find a puddle of water under the mini-split. The Rectorseal pump has failed. I give 1 star for ease of installation and 0 stars for longevity. C'mon Rectorseal... really?

Would be a great pump if it were reliable! Power 'blips' cause it to lock up! AWFUL!
I was running this pump for about a year without an issue, until there was a small power blip, during which the lights flickered slightly; nothing out of the ordinary. Well, apparently, the pump's microcontroller or whatever is in it decided to lock up, causing the pump to not work and cause significant condensate damage. It was chalked up to a 'once in a lifetime' event, until it happened AGAIN. Luckily, we saw the lights blink (again, a typical wind-induced thing), and guess what- the pump had locked up again. We power cycled it (via the breaker) and it immediately fired up and pumped. Then- it happened again, and this time more water damage. This pump's design is awful, and it doesn't do it every time, but - if you are unlucky, a simple "oh the lights flickered" power event could mean big damage is on the way. AVOID these pumps. Get something that doesn't have a (poorly implemented) microcontroller in it, and avoid a big mess.
