Overall good work short

I was looking for something a little different than the carhartt shorts I have always had. It’s kind of a synthetic feeling “dickies” work pant fabric, so not as soft as regular cotton shorts. It does have some stretch in the waist and even with a belt gives a little when you need it to for comfort. A little snug for a 38 waist but still works for me. I’d consider it a good pair of work shorts for mechanics, electricians, hvac, stuff like that but maybe a little disappointing on the fit if you’re doing more heavy manual labor sweating your butt off.

Size are toi big over time.

40 and 42 became too loose. Normally I were 40. I have to wear 38.

Looks great, built tough to withstand any activity!

At first, I wasn't to sure about elastic sides, but they work great. I fluctuate between waist sizes 32-34 and this gave me the best solution. The material is fairly thick, but after the first wash the shorts became more pliable and feel soft. They also have deep pockets, front and back to hide all of your EDC. These are a perfect alternative to other more known brands. Highly recommended, especially for the price. Purchased the tan and navy pairs.

Great work or casual shorts

Husband has owned a pair of these for 2 years. Wears for farm and HVAC, electrical, plumbing work. These shorts fit well with elastic in waist band. Metal zipper and quality fabric make these some of the best work shorts he has ever owned. I ordered 2 pair in this style specifically because they fit well and are the most durable we have found. At $20 per pair, quality for value is outstanding! Would highly recommend!

Good Pair of Shorts

These shorts are sized correctly. Look good and material seems very sturdy for work or casual shorts.

Good quality but far too long.

The size was perfect and the shorts are made well. The only negative for me is that the shorts are far too long, hanging below my knee. My wife makes fun of me when I wear them saying I look like a hobbit. For those people with longer legs, this might be fine, but if you have shorter legs and a longer torso like me they will be like half pants instead of shorts.

A good value, but, even with the elastic, the size runs a little on the small size.
