Best use is plastic recycle

These are the absolutely worst thing you can put on a child's feet. My wife thought they would be cute. WRONG! The concave nature of the underside makes them effectively suction cups on snow (dry powder might work but in the sierras, nope). With no toe hole, you cannot walk in them. I guess if you want to keep your child stuck in one place they have some use. If you want some awesome kids snowshoes check out Northern Lites. I use them, my wife uses them, they make a child model as well.
