Great Coffee Maker with a Catch
It's a good coffee maker if you have a back-up carafe and can drink all the coffee in the 2 hour heating time. I purchased this coffee maker in November of '22 and it works really well with two exceptions, 1) it only keeps the coffee hot for 2 hours with no way to continue heating without brewing more coffee to trigger another 2 hour heat time, and 2) the carafe is junk. My husband mentioned he thought it felt a bit light for a glass carafe and sure enough it cracked (without our hitting it on something or mistreating it) where the side wall starts to curve into the bottom. After doing some research it apparently is a known problem (every complaint I read was about the exact same issue) and it is impossible to get a replacement carafe. Looking at KitchenAid's website and currently-dated reviews for the carafe itself, some people noted they have been waiting a year or more and still no carafe. Now, those situations may have been resolved since the complaints were posted...I did notice that KitchenAid at least has (presumably) a bot responding to comments with a canned...so sorry, please call us at blah blah blah message.

So beautiful.
I’ve bought this exact coffee maker three times. Not because it broke but because after I bought myself one I figured my parents needed it as well ! And then I let my husband take ours to work for his office and I bought a different brand coffee maker for the house. That lasted two months and I couldn’t take it anymore I had to buy a third ! The matte color is amazing. You will not be disappointed with this sitting in your kitchen.

Worst carafe ever for a pretty good coffee maker.
After owning this coffee pot for less than two months I have tried everything to clean the carafe with Dawn, vinegar, and vinegar and baking soda and it will not come clean. It is cheap glass that stains easily and does not clean well. The glass is so thin I am afraid to handle it for fear it will break. Otherwise the coffee maker works well, marginally better than a cheap one you could buy at Goodwill.

Ok But Not My Top Choice
I like the idea of the removable tank because my challenge is not making a mess pouring water from the carafe into the non-removable tank of other coffee makers. Also, many manufacturers are challenged in designing carafe that pour cleanly with out dripping or leaking. The carafe is well designed and does not spill or leak when I pour coffee. The removable tank itself is well-designed for filling with water and toting from the sink to the coffee maker because it has a plastic handle that swivels up for carrying and down and out of the way for brewing. 2 Negatives: 1. When you re-attach the removable tank, you need to be careful to ensure it aligns with a shaft in the back of the coffee maker. This is not exactly easy to do if you have full tank for 12 cups. One time I mistakenly thought I had it correctly assembled and after it started to brew, it was leaking all over and I had quite a hot mess on my hands, no pun intended. 2. The spiral shower head that is at the top of the coffee maker above where the coffee and filter are placed, accumulates water when you brew, and when you open it to remove the old coffee and filter, a lot of water drips down all over the exterior of the coffee maker. I have to have a towel ready when I open it up to sop up all of the water.

Great coffee! Found a compatible replacement carafe
This coffee maker makes very high quality coffee. It's easy to set up and to use. We use the timer function almost every morning, which is a real time-saver. Nothing like coming downstairs to the smell of freshly brewed coffee waiting for you! One slip up while washing the carafe resulted in a small hairline crack. I searched all over for an in-stock replacement with no luck. Fortunately, the Mr Coffee 12 cup replacement carafe (https://amzn.to/3Vk5FlE) fits perfectly! Now I'll be able to get years more use out of my maker.

Not bad.
This is my fourth drip machine in the last few years. I had two Krups machines die within about a year of purchase (both just started leaking water one day) and one Cuisinart that suddenly refused to power on after about a year. This one seems to have a better build quality; doesn't feel as flimsy as my previous machines. So far my only complaint is warming plate temperature - the lowest temp setting still scorches my coffee within an hour of brewing. Solved by tossing some pennies on the plate to create an air gap. The lid doesn't seem to be removable from the carafe (maybe it is but I'm not going to force it because it feels like it may break), so washing it is a bit challenging.

Huge Watery Design Flaw
I love the look of this coffeemaker, looks expensive and nice on your counter, and I love the design. The tank is wide and so easy to fill, whether you're leaving it intact, and pouring through the nice wide opening, or sticking it right under the sink. However ... what in the world were they thinking with the leaking lid issue? When making coffee, condensation collects on the inner part of the lid in the many grooves and mazes, and the next time you lift it to make coffee again, the water doesn't just leak a little, or make a couple puddles ... it pours out, and I have to shove a paper towel under it super quick, or the water drips down each side of the coffeemaker onto the counter. I fold the towel several times, stick it under there asap, and it soaks the entire paper towel - not a cheap paper towel, but a thick one. Then I still have water to wipe up. I hate to give up this coffeemaker, but I'm quickly getting tired of trying to beat the speed of water whenever I want to make coffee.

On my 4th pair. The best.
I work in automotive warehouse environment. I've been wearing these for years now. You won't find a more durable, lightweight safety shoe for the money. Super comfy on concrete floors.

Shoes haven’t even lasted 3 months, falling apart
This product is not to a standard of quality to be used as a safety shoe. I would not recommend this to anybody. For the price I payed I expected more than 3 months out of them.
