It works!
Using this for my plug for the transfer switch for our house. Seems sturdy, electrician had no issues hooking it up. IMHO, don't waste your time going to home depot only to find something that's supposed to be there but isn't or waiting 5 days for home depot to deliver. Just get it next day off Amazon!

A needed item to connect your generator to your home
Installed this to connect my generator to the house during power outages and glad I did because I had a chance to try it out during the storm we had last month and it worked great. This box is sturdy and well made. I went with this brand because you just don't want to cheap out on necessities.

Well worth the $
Bought this to wire my generator into my Breaker Box...works like a charm when used with the proper sized wire. We had a windstorm recently, no power no problem. We had the house back up and running in 10 minutes. Absolutely a must in my opinion.

High quality
I changed my plans so I didn't use it. But, it is a very good connector.

Top notch all the way.
This is worth the extra few dollars. Plug locks easy and box heavy duty.

Best one out there
I like that this manufacturer puts a cover on the inlet port and it is easy to install and wire. Plus, the cover ensures it won't be full of mud wasps when you go to use it.

Not bad, some hurtles
If you look at some of the photos posted, you'll see the back knock-out is pretty much aligned with the bottom two screw holes. This is a problem for brick houses, as the wire was punched through the wall at a grout joint... leaving the bottom two tapcons in the mortar.... not great. Also, make sure to pick up some washers, as the holes are oversized (also: make sure you drill accurately, you only have one shot). Build quality feels and looks great. Plenty of space inside. I would have preferred a ROBERTSON HEAD option on the screws... American manufacturing and their philips... yikes. I was installing this at 0 C (32 F) outside, and the ground stake-on broke off :P Word of warning, be very gentle with the ground stake-on. (max 2 bends before it breaks)

Nice wall-mount generator plug for a house or garage.
Nice, clean setup when installed. Used with 10AWG x3 AC90 armoured cable back to electrcal box, cable was a bit of a tight fit in this box, and about all the small set screws wanted to handle as far as clamping down on the 10 AWG conductors. Small point; the label for "Neutral Floating Generator" was kind off an after thought I think. The label was pretty small, faded text and rather hard to read. I printed out a little larger label with same working. But all in all it yielded a nice clean finished product for the house backup generator. Ready to accept generator power in an emergency. I mounted it in the garage, also using a 25' cord to run outside to a 7200W genset. Genset is stored in the garage with a battey tender jr on its battery. Cord fit well and twist locked into position. Tested under load for 60 minutes and no heat issues at any of these connections.

very easy to install
Just installed this box to run my 120 volt generator to my furnace, very easy to install . One thing to remember you will need a strain relief clamp for inside the box if you want a perfect install. Since i will wire direct to my furnace with the use of the TF151W Easy/Tran Transfer Switch i used 12/2 wire which is more than adequate for a 120 volt line. To finish the hook up i used AC Connectors ADL530L1430 Plug adapter L5-30P to L14-30R(Hots Bridged) 30Amp 125Volt to 30Amp 125/250Volt on the box end and just plugged the 3 prong into my standard duplex plug on my generator. In another words this allows you use a 3 prong cable on a 4 prong inlet box attach the black wire to the X ,white wire to the W, Copper wire to Ground. Just for info this may sound like a complicated method but i was not about to buy a 240 volt generator to simply run my FHA furnace that only requires 120 Volt input. If you follow this procedure all 120 Volt generators will work fine on 120 Volt furnace . One last thing to be safe i also would use a 12/2 Generator cable from the Generator to the inlet box, When the power goes off flip the transfer SW to Generator and have safe power source to heat your home, with basic tools and hands this is not a difficult task. Good luck

Not as good as expected
I had a previous pair from a gas station and it did help, so I had higher expectations from this $36 pair. The good: They are decent quality and come with a plastic sleeve that is handy, they do some filtering, seem to feel comfortable on one hour ride. The not so good: I expected a more visible filtering. In many situations I hardly feel the improvement. They are polarized, yes, but the angle is 45 degrees, so maximum effect is obtained if i tilt my head 45 degrees, as opposed to my other glasses. Not sure why. I am also afraid that the lenses are quite sensitive to cleaning from what I read on recent reviews. A sturdier case (not the square hardcase - the plastic sleeve would be preferable. The hard case does not fit in the glove compartment very well, it takes too much space. I hope the manufacturer is reading these reviews by buyers.
