After 7 months of use
Still holding up strong, great for stick welding, when I weld mig some sparks burn bad with this jacket. It doesn't burn a hole through jacket but with leave boils from MIG sparks that sit on my jacket arms long enough.

Best welding jacket yet
I bought this as a gift for my son the welder. He is a big guy and said this is the best jacket he has had. It is soft and the collar is smooth. It fits him well. I'm going to put another one in my cart soon as a back up.

Excellent jacket.
I'm thrilled with this welding jacket. The leather is high quality and stitched well. There are convenient shoulder pockets for soapstone or small tools, and the front pocket is large and accessible. I also think it looks pretty nifty. For those concerned about size: I'm 5 foot 11 inches and weight around 240 lbs with a bit of a gut (size 38 pants), so I had a difficult time deciding on whether to purchase a L or XL. I purchased the XL and it's actually a little big on me. I probably would have been fine with a large, but I bought the XL just to be sure. It's a little loose and the arms are an inch or so too long, but I'd rather have a looser fit for freer movement. I've only had the jacket a short while, and used it for maybe 40 hours of welding work, but I am extremely happy. The only thing I can't speak to is duration, but everything I've experienced so far tells me I'll still be wearing this a decade from now.

Would by again. Nice jacket
I can fit a large, but in jackets I fit the XL and this XL fit me perfectly. This is a nice jacket. It is made with a smooth cowhide; supple enough to be comfortable wearing around in the house. And it's good looking. It has styling, a slight taper at the waist with snaps for adjustment. I also like the color which is brown that is hard to describe, but very close to the picture. For me, the cut and feel is impressive for a welding jacket, but I haven't been out and around looking at welding jackets and options are limited.
