Grilling

It is durable for my Husbands BBQ ribs on a charcoal grill, yum yum. I use reynolds wrap for potatoes on the grill. Use it for grilling, in the oven, bonfire, left overs. If you have kids you can use it to make things to entertain them, wands, shields let them use their imagination. The possibilities are endless.

Pay more for way more!

This is the real deal if you have a smoker. It is way tougher than standard foils and the size usually allows for a single sheet for a rack rather than an upper and lower of regular foil sizes. They may have a non stick coating on the dull side, but I always put parchment between the meat and foil. I never worry about tearing this foil and losing those good juices!

Heavy duty does it

This is fantastic for brisket and other bbq items. It doesn't tear like the light weight foil. With care, you can wash and reuse.

Amazon to the rescue!

I use this heavy duty, wide roll aluminum foil a lot for making certain things on my large baking sheets but have recently been unable to find it in local stores. I was down to my last scrap when I thought of Amazon! It arrived in perfect shape since it was shipped in a box large enough to hold it— no squashed or torn edges. Love this stuff for easy clean-up!

Expensive but worth it

I always bought the cheapest aluminum foil I could find. I used Reynolds at a friend's house and was surprised by how much better and stronger it was. I will never buy another brand.

Thick

Are you looking for a thick material as an electrode to your homebrew capacitor production line? Look no further, sturdy and thick, worth every inch. Yet to find a similar material locally, isn't Canada and Alcan supposed to be the Aluminum masters? huh... more like, hey, how can we make more profits this year? Engineers respond, we stand behind our quality, make no changes, invest in quality, augment quality, remove marketing guys.. Marketing guys: easy peasy, set the thickness dial to 1mil less, we will reduce cost of production by 2M$ a year; from which me and the guys will only skim 40%, you, as CEO, will keep 1.2M$.. think about it. I think at Reynolds, the engineers stood their ground and said, leave that to China.

Super thick and sturdy foil.

This stuff is twice the weight of standard foil and the difference in durability is huge. Overkill for average food wrap but fantastic for tough jobs like grilling or campfires, where regular foil often fails. You could easily make a pan out of this stuff and boil water in an emergency. Worth the premium price for special circumstances.

Great for the smoker

I'd say this stuff is 4x stronger than your standard Alcan foil. I was originally going to use pink butcher paper (peach paper) for my smoked brisket but it was too expensive. This stuff worked great - just be sure to let the steam out for 15 minutes before letting it rest.
