A good insulated recreational ice skate for cold winter outdoor skating

A reasonably priced, well made recreational ice skate for skating outdoors on lakes or rivers in colder weather. Can be used in a rink as well. Buy a size and a half larger to fit on extra socks, if being used for the cold like I do. The laces and adjustable buckle cinches make the boot fit as tight or snug as you want it, giving better control and feel for the ice.

Get a larger size!

The company selling the skates claims that you should order your normal shoe size. However I should have listened to the reviews that said to order a larger size since they were made in Europe. I ordered a size 13 like all of my shoes and boots. The way they felt I feel like I need a 14 and a half.

Big feet

I wear size 15 wide in shoes. It was difficult finding skates to fit, but these size 16 regular fit me!

Had to return skates

Skate blade was not fastened boot. Had to return.

Good fit for huge feet

I am a size 15.5 wide and the size 16s fit great. Very comfortable, no movement, would recommend.

Not cool!

I ordered this due to them being the only ones that had my size, (14) got them and the fit perfectly, used the a few times and then noticed after a skate session that the blade was starting to come off from the boot. I contacted seller to return for a refund. The seller agreed, I returned them and received partial refund due to restocking fee. I only returned due to faulty product, if it disconnected completely while skating I could have been severely injured.

Work for size 16

I wear size 16W. These are the first skates that work for me without hurting. (I also recommend their similarly designed inline skates)
