Comfortable with minimum break-in.

Fit was spot-on and with a short break-in period, this is a comfortable daily wear boot for hard floors as this has a Vibram sole. The lining is soft but not overly plush so the foot and ankle stay firm within the boot. I normally wear tactical side-zips for quickness, but I gave this boot a shot and i'm glad I did. I need only un-loop the first two speed lace loops to get easy on-off without the need to rethread the laces or do any re-tightening of the entire laces. Have not checked for waterproofing other than casual splashes of water, if I get caught in the rain on the motorcycle..that'll be the real test. These are not the lightest boots coming from a lightweight tactical boot, but the comp toe is certainly lighter than steel toes. The tanned oiled leather has a great look with khaki's or dockers, utility pants.. etc. I will be purchasing these again..and hopefully they'll still be available.
