Size xx-small splint measures 2" - 2 1/2" (5.1 - 6.4 cm); for size, measure length of corresponding finger on unaffected hand from web space to tip. Made from 1/16" (1.6 mm) AQUAPLAST-T splinting material with comfortable 1/16" (1.6 mm) PLASTAZOTE liner for long-term wear. Includes bolts of various sizes to progressively stretch contracted muscles, replace with longer bolts as muscles relax and stretch. Two d-ring straps can be crossed or laid parallel depending on wearer preferences and needs. Provides constant pressure to correct and prevent finger contracture by forcing the fingers into a stretched and extended position.
