It’s brown leather underlays design on the shaft and vamp make this boot a great choice for fashion and work. A cushioned insole is added for extra comfort so you can play hard and be comfortable doing it. "Go West." This simple phrase captures a universal longing to leave behind the everyday and set out for parts unknown. 130 years ago, John B. Stetson heeded that call and created the classic symbol of the West. Today, the unbridled individuality of the American spirit continues to be Stetson's constant inspiration. Stetson apparel and footwear reflect the same beliefs and traditions that made Stetson part of the Great American West.

Order AT LEAST a size up
I normally wear a 9 1/2 so I ordered a size 10 to make sure I could get my orthotics in as well. I could not even get one of my feet into the boot and the other was excruciatingly tight. They were way too small. I’m ordering a size 11 and hoping for the best. Wish me luck.

Love them!!
Welp, I found my brand! These fit just about perfect. I bit big in the heel but a cushion insole fixed that issue. They are so pretty! I really like them. From now on, Roper is my brand! I will definitely be buying more

Great boots!
I love these Ropers. I usually buy expensive boots but these were a steal and under $150. It took a while to find them in size 8 but it was worth the wait. I use them for line dancing and the blue twinkles under the lights. Very comfortable!

Boots were great

As pretty as pictured
Size 8 is my most common shoe size and worked for this boot. There is greater than a thumb’s width from my great toe to end of boot. I have a bunion but having the boot a bit long allows accomodation at widest part of toe box. If not for bunion I would size down to 7 1/2. Little to no arch support- could try a thin insert. I plan to wear these for going out- not prolonged walking. These were very slippery on the soles. I placed a non slip sticker on the bottom which helped a great deal and other reviews say that time and scuffing helps. I love the look of these- I am not a cowgirl, but got them for the novelty and the bling.

Inspect closely, and call Customer Service if necessary. You may get shipped an inferior boot.
First, I tried on these boots at a local retailer. They were stunning, pure perfection, and the fit in a size 6 was excellent with enough room for a boot sock. I typically wear a ladies 6.5 in oxfords/tennis shoes, and sometimes a 7 in high heels. Every boot I have owned runs large, and all are a size 6. Having tried on the 6 in this exact boot, that is what I ordered. What I received was entirely different...I couldn't even get the first part of my foot past the shaft to the foot bed. Upon close inspection of the boots, I noticed the soles were really terrible. The layers that compose the soles were not trimmed at the edges, and on the left boot they were cut unevenly and not smoothed. The stitching connecting the upper to the soles was uneven. Additionally, the instep was extremely low, the height of which could not have been more than an inch. The inside shaft of the boots were 'stamped' with the sizing information, and it read a 6. Laying my foot against the underside of the boot, a 6 should have EASILY fit with plenty of room to wiggle my toes. (Note: I am not overweight, I do not have an unusually high instep, and there is nothing abnormal or exceptional about my feet.) I firmly believe that the first pair sent to me must have been a 'factory second' or even third. It was something I wouldn't sell to anyone. Of course, the robots don't open the boxes the manufacturers send to them, so this wasn't really Amazon's fault. It was Roper's. They shouldn't have let this pair out of the factory. I phoned customer service and reported my problem. They immediately gave me credit for the purchase and ordered me a new pair, and sent it overnight shipping. FIVE STARS FOR AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE! Because of the experience, I didn't order another size 6...I went up a 1/2 size just to be certain. I review that boot in another post. The single star is because the Roper 'cobbler practice' boot should have never left their factory only to cause frustration, and expense, to others along the retail chain. It was an embarrassment. If one chooses to order these boots, CLOSELY inspect every inch of the boot before wearing them.

I have small feet, wear a size 5 but these were too small
Too small I guess...I couldn't even get my foot inside the boot. I wear a size 5 shoe so it's been a struggle to find boots!

Not as described. Too bad. Disappointed.
I am incredibly disappointed in these boots. They look awesome and have a decent enough fit. However they were advertised as leather lined which they are not. By the photo view on the ad, they look completely leather lined. I have attached pictures of the boots I received which clearly are not. When you ride all day in 30 degree celcius heat, you need leather lined boots. The picture on the ad shows leather all the way down (or at least farther than mine are in the attached pictures). I am sending these back to Amazon and I expect a full refund. I would have kept them if they were leather lined. Fabric lining is very hot and doesn't allow the boot to mold to your foot the same way. I might have even made a consideration to keeping them if only the boot tops were lined, but it is lined the complete was through the foot. Very, very disappointed in these boots. Sad that Roper is making a textile lined boot.

Boots
Purchased these exact boots almost 5 years ago at the Denver stock show. Loved them so much, when they started to get very worn out, I went in a search for another pair just like the. Was so thankful, I found them! So comfortable, don’t want to give them up!
