Details and craftsmanship

I am a fan of rough country and their products. I am a repeat customer. out of the box looks great. Unfortunately, the instructions were not very clear. The biggest gripe I have with a company, is when you can price your products great, and your instructions are not. Simply put for certain bolts and nuts and washers allow them to be separated in different bags with letters on them, to identify what they belong to. (This allows the "i think this goes here " out of the way) overall rock-solid product instructions take with a grain of salt. would i recommend? yes, I would.

Halfway great!

I have a 2015 XP and bought this as it said 14+. The mount for the winch was great. But…the haus fairlead…nope. Doesn’t fit the 15. So instead of this project being done, I’m ordering another part. Probably find one not RC so I do t get something wrong again.

Met my expectations for the price

Purchased this to go with the RC 4500lb winch on a 15' rzr 1000 xp4. First of the mount fit perfectly and seems strong. I don't know how long I'll keep this machine so I elected to save $ by going with this set up. The competition would have cost me about $475 and I was able to put this together for $250. I had to give it 4 stars cause there are some downsides but it mainly has to do with the winch side and the shody hardware and terrible instructions. I have a lot of experience installing after market parts and found this to be fairly simple but design made it time consuming. Do not attempt if you're not somewhat mechanically inclined. First off all the instruction for installing the winch and mount only come with the mount so keep that in mind. Google a you tube cause the instructions are not great, in fact they are kind of a let down and not very detailed. Hardest part of installation for the the mount is getting the bolts in as there is not a lot of room. Also the hardware is cheap. All in all I am happy cause I saved a ton of money and the mount itself is strong and seems well made. Just some minor nuisances.

Easy to install. Great instructions

Very quick and easy install. Only very minor issues I had was the holes on the fairlead that came with my winch didn’t line up but that was an easy fix

No mount for bumper

Product thickness is good, was kind of a pain to install it was not built at the proper angle so you have to bend to get it to sit properly. Also wish they would mention that it deletes the mounting location for the bumper…

Fit great for 2015 xp4 1000

Had fitment trouble with an off-brand before ordering this one, and this one fits great. Don't bother with the one that's a few bucks cheaper than this, it's not worth what you save.

Not direct fit on 19+ machines

Did not fit my 2022 xp1000 premium even though it advertises it fits 14 to 22 machines. You have two options if you want to make this Mount fit your newer razor. Option one is you can cut away the front bumper fascia to fit it around the bottom part of the mount. Or option two is you cut the lower corners of the mount just enough to make it narrow enough at the bottom so the fascia fits around the mount. Picture attached showing where the cuts had to be made and approximately how much material had to be removed in order to get the fascia to fit. I used a four and a half inch angle grinder with a zip cut disc. It was a 5-minute fix. I wasn't willing to cut the fascia on my new machine this seemed like the better option. Also would like to note the holes on this Mount are bigger than they need to be and I'm not sure why they are so big so for these two issues I gave it a three out of five stars.

Missing (4) 8mm 1.25 x 25mm Hex head bolts. Charge full price and skip out on the hardware

Super easy install. Only way it could of been better is if it came with a fair lead. Takes a 6” fairlead
