Exactly what I needed

Most of the replacement lamp cords with switches that I found were 6 feet long. That would’ve been a little short for my needs, so 8 feet is perfect. Make sure you consider how far the on/off switch will be from your lamp (measurements are provided in the item’s description). For my lamp, the switch is the perfect distance from the lamp base. Wire fit easily into 3/16 inch diameter hole/tube in center of lamp. Wire ends are pre-stripped and soldered for easy rewiring.
